Hmm, the first clue is "look where I point." But the koi cat doesn't seem to be obviously pointing at anything!

Ah, but there ARE little pointers on the portal, and the portal is "where we enter" ...

The Atlantean script on the portal spells out "BYHNTIALR." The four letters that are singled out are "BHAR." Are these letters considered "displaced," in which case the "number of displaced letters" is 4? Not sure about that. But if we take BYHNTIALR and shift it 4 letters forward, we get FCLRXMEPV, and shifted backward we get XUDJPEWHN. Due to the Xs, I don't have high hopes that those are right, but maybe!

It's probably not right, but...

What if, once the displaced letters are figured out, they need to be arranged? As in, "shifted" around, to make a communable word?...

Truthfully I don't know. It just made sense to me.

If we re arrange the letters before being shifted we can get TRIAL BY HNT (trial by hunt) or TRIAL BY NHT (trial by night) but if we look at the other tips it makes no sense...

Look where I point...is it talking about it’s hands or ears? It’s seems to point towards the forum name with its ears, but I’m not certain if that’s what it meant...

All of the puzzles are Trial by Hint, really.

Maybe! We had to do that in another riddle, so it's definitely on the table. Usually for this sort of thing, "shifted" means it'll be in something like a Caesarian cipher, while "scrambled" means the letters will need to be moved around. However, it's a possibility.
That's a good find! Try both of them once the way is clear!
Yeah, I'm not sure either! Sometimes there will be secret clickable links, but that was mostly in older versions of Epic Week. I'm not even sure if the "I" referred to here is the koi cat itself, or if it's speaking in a more general sense ...

Did you translate the portal in the comic or the video...the video has more of the symbols and 6 arrows not 9 symbols and 4 arrows...?

Alrighty, the one in the video is the alphabet. The arrows move during the video, so let me figure out their start and end points.

Sure thing! If you ever wanna take a crack at decrypting any Atlantean, this is the cipher.

So, the arrows all start clustered at the top. They aren't pointing to individual letters at first. The two on the outside move outward at the same speed, then the next set. Sooo, this leads me to think that the initial positions aren't important.

The arrows land ... the first frame we see is two on the rightmost side, which land on T and V. Then there is a frame of one landing on O, then G.

TVOG?

Yup! So, I think that the first clue refers to those letters. Then there's the second clue ... "shifted the number of displaced letters." Well, TVOG shifted forward by four is XZSK and backward by four is PRKC. I tried all three of those, and none worked.

Hmm! Let me run through the script on the gateway again to be sure the alphabet is in order. I skipped some here and there when I figured out it was just the alphabet.

Nope ... the alphabet is all in the right order.

HEY I see some mysterious text, hang on!

Alright, there's a frame in the video where one of the enemies emerges! I *think* it says "kzxo iep tkleo vdo bdhh." Running THAT through a +4 and -4 Caesarian cipher isn't turning up anything useful--I think this is gonna shake out to be a phrase in english. Lemme run it through some keyword ciphers. Then maybe Vigenere. SOMEDAY THERE WILL BE VIGENERE.
