I think the garbled phrase may say "kzxo iep tkfleo yda bdhh." It's in the video, near the end, when the labyrinth guardians are emerging from the passages to surround our heroes. If you wanna take a peek, that would rock.

Iiiii ... suppose there isn't any guarantee it'll be in English. Either way, I've tried a number of the garbly results anyway.

To me, this implies that we are moving "BHARGOTV" to the start of something. I originally thought this was just representing a keyword cipher, wherein you move the letters of a keyword to the front of the alphabet. However... we also know that "our cipher is our key, but shifted." This implied that whatever has BHARGOTV in it is gonna be shifted, and THAT will be used as the key.

Maybe... Maybe arrange all the letters as if for a keyword cipher (so A-Z, with the keyword at front), shift them forwards and/or backwards by eight, and then run that through as the keyword against the phrase?
I tried that, but it's possible I did it wrong
Like, I took "BHARGOTVACDEFIJKLMNPQSUWXYZ" and shifted that forward/back, and used that as the keyword
Now... what I DONT know is if 8 is the right number
