It was probably already thought of, but what about what the characters say just before/during/just after going through the portal?

Talk about the hat being too much, the unicorn being left behind despite bravery... "Here we go." They count to 3 together, but both only say 2 of the numbers... "Wow, look at this place." "Now that's more like it. The adventure begins!"

I think the only bits of that that would count as "phrases" are "here we go," the counting to 3, and "the adventure begins!"

There's also the elf person who comments "Whoa! This place is like a labyrinth..." immediate after going through.

AND WAIT WHEN DID SERVER BECOME TINY AND PORTABLE-ISH?

*shrugs* Iunno. Maybe not helpful at all.

Well that's pretty straightforward. I guess just try with each collection of letters y'all have come up with?

Edit: Unless that can't work and it's maybe a massive string of each version? Didn't we have a ridiculously long string last year for one of the answers?

BHARYNTIL doesn't work.

Maybe it's whatever the portal spells out, but with the 4 "pointed to" letters moved to the beginning of the word?

Well, besides the arrows on the gate itself, the only pointing gestures I'm seeing in either the comic or the video don't appear to be at anything. The comic has Kim pointing vaguely at a doorway with her thumb, and in the film, the hero randomly points about 30 seconds in, but there's... nothing actually being pointed at.

Unless someone's seeing some other pointing, sticking to the pointers on the portal itself seems best. Even though that makes the point of view along with the other hints a little weird?

Message in a Bottle:

I was looking back at the video, and it seems like there were just three letters pointed out? Maybe I missed something, but it looks like just T, V and G. Also, on the other side, three other letters are pointed out, but I think those might be the same?
Still just looking to see if I can catch anything we haven't gotten yet...

Oh, no, sorry, nevermind about the other side! Just a shadow I misinterpreted.

Good sleurhing, everyone! So, in a keyword cipher, the letters of the key are moved to the beginning of the alphabet. I've tried a million versions of a keyword cipher, but let me try a few million more

Alright, I'll see what other ciphers I can find on Google.

Ok. I also just attempted to input the alphabet, but with TVOG moved to the front. That didn't work.

I tried running the phrase through a keyword cipher with a keywords of BHAR, TVOG, BHARTVOG (which would be an amazing character name), and TVOGBHAR. I'm not getting anything that makes sense. Nova could be right that it has something to do with something someone SAYS, but nothing seems decryptable. Maybe we need to ENCRYPT some of those phrases, using the TVOG key?

Using TVOG as a keyword on the phrase does result in the forth word being "yhe" which is... almost "the." That might not mean anything.

I mean, it could though. We should keep it in mind.

It's true!

We have two clues that are related but slightly different... "shifted by the number of displaced letters" and "move your chosen letters to the start." I tried running the phrase through a keyword decryption (TVOG key) and THEN did a Caesarian shift of 4 (and then 22, because idk which way it goes). Nothing sensible.

Alright, I did find something called a Keyed Caesar Shift. It allows for one to put in a word or phrase at the beginning of the alphabet and line up the others after that. I was thinking that we use it there and see if anything comes up.
