It's that time of year again! I'll be hosting four separate Pokémon Tournaments, each with their own set of rules and prizes. The first three will be run on Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon, while the fourth tournament will be held on Pokémon Showdown. Before I get into describing each tournament, I've got a few rules to go over.
This is just your regular ol' tournament, no gimmicks, no hidden surprises, no surprise mortgages, just a simple Pokémon battle. Each battle will be a 3-on-3, single battle. The grand prize is a 6IV, shiny, battle ready Diancie (sorry, no Mega Stone). The runner up will receive one of three, event exclusive Hidden Ability Unova Starters, and those who fall in the semifinals will receive a random Pokémon egg. I'm looking for eight entrants to join this tournament. If it interests you, comment DIAMOND along with your friend code and in-game name.
This tournament will played by monotype rules. All Pokémon you use must share at least one type; if you have a Nidoking, all Pokémon just either be Poison or Ground. If you have Nidoking and Seviper, all Pokémon must be Poison, if you have Nidoking and Mamoswine, all Pokémon must be Ground. Each battle will be a 3-on-3, single battle. The grand prize is a 6IV, shiny, battle ready Guzzlord. The runner up will receive one of three, event exclusive Hidden Ability Unova Starters, and those who fall in the semifinals will receive a random Pokémon egg. This tournament will be the exact opposite of the one above. No two Pokémon can share the same type, this means if you have a Nidoking on the team, you cannot have any other Poison or Ground types in the team. The grand prize is a shiny Absol holding Absolite. The runner up will receive one of three, event exclusive Hidden Ability Unova Starters, and those who fall in the semifinals will receive a random Pokémon egg. I'm looking for eight entrants to join this tournament. If it interests you, comment SCYTHE along with your friend code and in-game name. The battles will be full, 6-on-6 single battles. Eight entrants will be needed!
The final tournament will be held on Pokémon Showdown and be played according to the standard OU rules. All battles will be full 6-on-6 single battles. The grand prize will be an RPR Weapon Pack for Epic Week; you'll receive a package of fifteen different weapons and items to use to fight against the Epic Week monsters. To enter, comment SHOWDOWN along with your Pokémon Showdown username. Eight entrants will be needed!
Entries will officially close on the conclusion of Epic Week. Good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor!
- Be a good sport; don't gloat when you win, don't whine when you lose.
- Forfeiting a battle results in automatic disqualification from the other tournaments.
- If you play Ultra Sun or Moon, please do not use the Pokémon introduced in them, since they cannot be used against players of Sun and Moon.
- You may only use up to one of the below Pokémon:
- Mewtwo
- Lugia
- Ho-Oh
- Groudon (Standard form only)
- Kyogre (Standard form only)
- Rayquaza (Standard form only)
- Dialga
- Palkia
- Giratina
- Darkrai
- Arceus
- Reshiram
- Zekrom
- Kyurem
- Yveltal
- Xerneas
- Zygarde
- Solgaleo
- Lunala
- Only one mythical or legendary Pokémon per team.
- You're more than welcome to join all four tournaments.
- Entries close at 6:30PM CST.
- Users only; characters will not be counted.
- All battles will be played through a best of 3 series. Two wins will be needed to move onto the next round.
