Oof, I shouldn't have tried to be sneaky and gone with his whole name. Yes, this is from one of the short stories in the early novels, wherein Geralt meets a character named "Three Jackdaws." In this story, there is a very obscure prophecy about a princess, stating that whoever marries her has to slay a dragon. (It was dug up to prevent a certain character from marrying her!)
