Okay, so in the shower (like where most amazing thoughts come from), I had an idea for a story. Basically, it's the setting and characters from Beauty and the beast, except Gaston and Belle are different. Belle is the town's flirt, kind of like a harlot. She has her eyes set on Gaston, a foreign soldier that came to their small town after he had visited it in the war. He when France was under siege by (some country), he was a soldier for the other side. However, something happened and he was driven away from the army, going to the small village. Might have PTSD, might not, haven't decided yet. But what I know is that he is a very reserved person, although the town's girls keep going after him and advancing although he says no multiple times.

He'd get run out of town (perhaps because of the anxiety of being near the town's ladies) and he winds up at the beast's castle. Going in for shelter from the snow, he finds the beast. Seeing him be intelligent, he offers to fight him in a swordfight, having heard the tales of the monster's ferocity and animalistic tendencies. So, the beast agrees and they fight like that. Gaston loses with a deep wound in his side, but the beast spares him reluctantly because of the humanity that Gaston had shown he had.

That's all I got so far, so let me know what you guys think! I think it would be an amazing thing to write, if I'm being honest.

Like, I don't know what to do with it. Should I make it a story? An rp starter? Like, I dunno man. All I know is that I want to use it.

Why not both? Perhaps write a story based off an rp or write the story first and have a description of what you absolutely want in the rp ywhile still having it loose and fun you know? I love the concept and would join in if perhaps I knew more of Belles role in it BUT it is a great start and I'd love to help if I can! You have amazing ideas
