Anderson Station Massacre, Expanse Wiki wrote:
When local Belters' protests turned violent with the spacing of the station governor on Anderson Station the United Nations sent the United Nations Marine Corps to end the situation. This would lead to the massacre of thousands of civilians and cause Fred Johnson to become known as the "Butcher of Anderson Station".
The Belters and their families who lived and worked on the station were treated incredibly poorly by their Earth-based superiors. Eventually, under the leadership of Marama Brown, the miners took over the station and refused to work, staging a labor strike in protest of the poor treatment of them and their families. Although the rebellion was fairly non-violent (as they did not have access to weapons), the station master did end up being killed.
In response, the Anderson-Hyosung Cooperative Industries Group had the United Nations Navy dispatched to blockade the station, cutting off the protesters from food and communication as well as branding them terrorists. After less than a week of striking, the Belters reluctantly voiced their surrender to the United Nations Marine Corps.
However, this surrender was ignored by Colonel Fred Johnson, who had his ship open fire on the station, severely damaging it and causing it to depressurize, killing all the inhabitants. This action resulted in him getting the nickname "The Butcher of Anderson Station".

I also tried Marama Brown earlier, too.
Fixed!
From a message in a bottle:
Maybe, "Rebellion"...? It spreads like wildfire, can be misinterpreted between terrorism and righteousness, they usually mean well....

...Mr Universe is from something else entirely.
Well, that was a signal.
But still. The point remains.
I did try looking into sorts of propaganda and the like earlier, but didn't get very far with it. Hrrrrm.

Perhaps it has something to do with Holden's message that was sent out about Mars attacking the Cant, even though it wasn't Mars, but something else.
That caused a big uproar with the OPA, it spread like wildfire through all of that and then Mars and Earth started pointing fingers at one another.

"Remember the Cant" was tried - but what about the full war-cry? "Remember the Canterbury"?
Or just "Canterbury", or "insurance".
