Greetings/General Info/Criteria
Hello fellow role players! I'm looking for someone to Role Play with my newly made character, Citra Terranova. Otherwise known as Scythe Anastasia. I'm looking for someone to play along as her backstory. Remember this is strictly fictional. But of course there can be romance and other genre's depending on how we decide to do it. I'm looking for literate people who can do more than one-liners. Please do not be overwhelmed by the size of this post. Trust me if you read it all, it'll be worth it. I hope! If you have ANY questions about the background of her, or the overall story or world that we live in just let me know and I'll answer all of your questions. PM Me or reply if you'd like to RP with me. These are strictly 1 On 1 RP's.
My Character's Background
She had been taken away from her family at a young age and trained under a man known as 'Faraday.' Citra had grown to look up to the man. Eventually Faraday died and was passed on to train under 'Curie' (Otherwise known as Marie) Who was kind and smart and would stop at nothing to make Citra the best she could possibly be. Eventually Citra became a scythe. She was tasked to kill people to 'control' the world's population which is far too high. She worked with the scythedom. With all of the other scythes who were working on 'controlling' the worlds population. Although many of the scythes, and people who were corrupt never got killed.
The Scythe Commandments
1. Thou shalt kill.
2. Thou shalt kill with no bias, bigotry, or malice aforethought.
3. Thou shalt grant an annum of immunity to the beloved of those who accept your coming, and to anyone else you deem worthy.
4. Thou shalt kill the beloved of those who resist.
5. Thou shalt serve humanity for the full span of thy days, and thy family shall have immunity as recompense for as long as you live.
6. Thou shalt lead an exemplary life in word and deed, and keep a journal of each and every day.
7. Thou shalt kill no scythe beyond thyself.
8. Thou shalt claim no earthly possessions, save thy robes, ring, and journal.
9. Thou shalt have neither spouse nor spawn.
10. Thou shalt be beholden to no laws beyond these.
The Scythe Commandments Simplified
1. You shall kill.
2. You shall kill with no prejudice, hatred, or racism/sexism/etc.
3. You shall grant immunity to those who accepted it when you gleaned someone in their family without argument.
4. You shall kill the family members of those who resist your gleaning.
5. You shall work as a Scythe for as long as you live and your family will receive immunity for as long as you live until the day you Self glean.
6. You shall live an amazing life in word and what you do, keep a journal of everyday.
7. You shall kill any other Scythe's other than theirself.
8. You shall have no possesions important to you other than your robe, ring, and journal.
9. You shall have no wife, or baby.
10. You shall be omitted from any law besides these.
The Storyline/World
It'd basically be the normal world except for one thing added. Something called the Scythedom, which is where the 'Scythes' would meet 3 times a year. The population has becoming way too high so they must glean as many people as they can a year. Their meeting is called conclave. Which is also where the Scythe's apprentices are tested 3 times that year. They are tasked to legally kill people without bias, strictly based on their actions and what they do. Once a scythe is ordained they get to choose the color of their robe. But the color black is forbidden. Scythes wear these robes at all times in public. They also choose a new name to go by. Mine is Scythe Anastasia. The scythes are all very skilled in every form of martial arts and are supposedly honorable and noble. Of course some of the scythes are not this. They are corrupt and the very thing that is supposed to be curing evil in the world is now becoming it. Before a kill, scythes have to research their target before killing them and get to choose whichever method of killing they'd like. Sometimes they make mistakes and kill innocent people and they are severly punished for this. The killings are not called killings or murder, they are known strictly as gleanings/to glean. Scythes can also have apprentices. They train them for a year and get tested 3 times in that year. If the succeed they will become a scythe. Scythes are both respected and feared. They don't get paid because everything is free for them. They have rings that, when someones DNA touches it, they are registered to the scythedom as unkillable for a year. (Such as kissing the ring, punching them to draw blood so their DNA is implanted on it that way.There are also junior scythes, which is a scythe who just got accepted to be a scythe. It takes years to become a full fledged scythe. That's the info you'll need to know for now, if you have any questions let me know.
Your Character Choices
Here are a few of the roles you could do which would change the RP altogether. You could also come up with your own character/character idea! Let me know if you have an idea and I'd love to hear it.
1. Fugitive, also known as lucifer. You were training to become a scythe but did not pass your tests for reasons known by you only. (Too kind or too willing to kill) You take on the form of lucifer and get a black robe. You are a fugitive who is killing corrupt Scythe's to save the scythedom from itself. But the scythes label you a fugitive because of the illegal things you do. If you are seen scythe's are told to reprimand you, or kill you on the spot. I happen to stumble upon you right after a gleaning. What will happen next?
2. (Closed) I had been studying you for some time. You are still in highschool and I decide to make you my apprentice. And we can start it off from there. (You can be the scythe and I the apprentice as well, it's up to you.)
3. You are a person selected for gleaning. Unfortunately you have powers that know one had known about. (of your choosing) And are able to take me down. This had never happened before, a scythe had never lost or been captured before. It is up to you to decide what will happen next. Choose wisely.
4. You are a Scythe as well and we meet while at the conclave. There are lots of ways this could go so we'll just see what happens. (The conclave happens 3 times a year. All the scythes meet up and discuss things. Like banning ways to glean such as setting people on fire.)
5. You are a corrupt Scythe that I have come to hate because of your ways. I've been paired up with you to glean together because it's becoming increasingly dangerous for a scythe. People who hate us have been trying to kill us. And we can just go from there!

Oh my gosh I love these books I'm almost done with thunderhead. I will make a whole other character if I have to but I would like to do this please.
