I enjoyed all of it, one of the best parts of it, being the team building aspect.

I love the thrill and excitement of it all, the contests, raffles, watching all the teams of players come together as one, searching for clues to unlock riddles, swapping findings and ideas, fighting monsters in coordinated attacks, crafting oils to strengthen our warriors, winning weapons through the doubutt game, repairing weapons with Aalto and Moa, gazing and exploring for more weapons and raw materials, all done efficiently in a race against time to have it all completed before the Epic Week is over.

I can only say, my first year (last year 2018) was great and this year 2019 has also been great. I have met so many new players that I didn’t even know were on the site, some veterans and others new arrivals.

I find the challenges that we need to overcome together to succeed during Epic Week give a great opportunity for camaraderie and for creating new friendships by meeting RPR comrades that I might not have otherwise interacted with.

And the best part of it, is that it is not quite yet over. Even if the main challenge is accomplished, there is always a handful of contest that go on a little longer, extending that team spirit and suspense for a few more days.

I would strongly advise to partake on at least one of the official contests going on and keep the positive emotions going a little longer, perhaps, who knows, you might become a winner, if not… it was all in the fun of taking part and sharing that team spirit and competitiveness that made it a great week so far.

Good luck to you all, contestants! Take courage and try one more challenge out.

Well said! I certainly plan to submit a proposal this week-end to the Design an Event for the RPR 2019!
Thank you for pointing that out, and good luck! <3
Epic Week. There's a lot to say about it. I think it brings us together. Makes us a closer community. Helps all of us learn how to better work together, so that we can overcome any trail that's before us. Anyone can help out during epic week, no matter who you are.

You can fight monsters, work on solving the riddles, amass items for the collection quest, or get more items from that amazing dobutting game. And even if you don't fully participate in epic week, the items people donate make a big difference. A huge difference. Im a little awkward with my words but what I'm trying to say is...

The best part of epic week is that it shows how beautiful and welcoming and inspiring every last member of this community is. This community is beautiful and its a big part of the reason as to why epic week works so well. Its because this community works well together.

Another aspect about epic week I love is that Kim and the moderators and the many amazing artists all team up together. I think the stories they create for this event get even cooler every year. I mean, Aliens, Pirates, robots? Its all so cool! All of the mods and Kim are so very creative and it only inspires me more.

So the best part of epic week is community, creativity, and the kindness that is even plainer to see than ever. It makes me so happy to be part of this community.

((haha might be a bit rambly. Your so cool for doing these raffles!))
This is basically my first time posting on a forum and also my first time enjoying an Epic Week, although I mostly use RPR to keep to my roleplays and such, I must admit that Epic Week had so much to offer that I couldn't help but feel awfully interested in it. I unfortunately didn't have much time (nor Internet) to enjoy it as much as other people did but it was really fun. I had absolutely no idea each person in RPR had HP or could actually go on adventuring to gather points and kill enemies. Which seemed really fun to me! Plus, Epic Week does seem like a time where most people in RPR gather and prove this isn't just a place where people roleplay separately but also one where people get to know each other, their characters, their experiences and their writing.

Hmmm, and that's it! I look forward to see other people's comments!
I have been on RPR for three full years, (as of February 25th!) And I have seen four Epic Weeks since I started. Unfortunately i dont usually have the ability to participate much, as I am part of 4-H and Epic Week falls smack dab in the middle of my county fair, where I am out camping for ten days with very spotty cell service and a lot of responsibilities, and most of the riddles and whatnot are figured out by the time I'm free. My first Epic Week I didnt actually get to participate at all, due to not being on the site very much and having no idea how to work everything.

On the upside however, I always love to see how the whole of the RPR community pulls together to solve riddles, trade items around to donate, fight enemies, fill the armory and help each other out with contests. It's also especially awesome to see all kinds of cool people post their own raffles or contests to give away items and help spread the love! (Just like you, might I add)

I always have so much fun participating in what I can, and I can't wait until I actually have a year that I can help out more!

The best part of epic week for me is the fun of seeing how well the whole community functions and thinks together to solve the riddles. It's really incredible too to see how many people are so generous and create epic raffles for the theme of epic week. This is like the one time of year that we can all share thing with each other. I'm hoping next year that I'll be in a place financially to do amazing raffles and offer super amounts of fun to people who can't really afford all the fun stuff that RPR has to offer too.

I also love fighting all the different monsters. Understanding how those work, getting to see people ban together and whoop some serious butt. The hit counters are my favourite too because you see all the fun things that Kim and the others put in to make the fight just that little bit immersive. They're always so funny and I bust a gut at some of those crits. The toe beans this year really got me going. Also, I totally agree with others. Those collection goals were criminal. Kim's brutality on the community is seen bright and gleaming whenever we have to give up items. Those oils, man. And the hats! The amount of hats that had to be turned in. Holy crap.

Thank you Dorian for always hosting these beautiful raffles!
Epic week, for me, always creates a sense of unity and togetherness. I love seeing everyone come together to overcome all the challenges presented. It gives everyone the potential to meet new people. I love seeing names that I have never seen before getting involved and helping everyone out when they can. Sometimes you get the wonderful opportunity to meet someone you may have never met otherwise. You can use your skills to help out others who may be struggling with certain aspects of epic week, like fighting monsters or solving riddles. Even just playing Doubutt or exploring more often than not will help other people out. There is such generosity being shown during Epic Week with all the raffles and the giveaways.

It is really inspiring to see a community, such as everyone in RPR, come together to support each other. There is also no pressure to get involved, if you choose not to. You are able to do as much as want or as little as you want. I really love being able to see all of the hard work that everyone puts into Epic week getting to be enjoyed. All the hours of research and work really shine through during Epic Week. Everyone does their best to make sure that everyone gets the opportunity to enjoy themselves.
The best part about epic week in my own opinion, is that the community can come together to solve a problem. It’s not only the birthday celebration, but a celebration of the people that helped create this community. Although this may be a bit overboard to say, this is a small celebration of humanity. It celebrates the decency of the human race and displays how even the smallest effort can effect the community as a whole. There is something for everyone in the community: the artists, the brains, the gamers, the strategizers, and even the rookies.
