Mai also saw the limo, confused as to why it was pulling up in front of her house. "I'm not going to college, I am going to look for work, hopefully I can find a job like the one I had before."
"It's not college, it's a witch finishing school. They give your your official sign when you graduate." Megan held up her hand. "This isn't an official sign, it's just a birthmark. You have to go to finishing school 'round these parts to be a full witch." Megan finished as she watched the limo girl walk up the steps to Mai's house.
Vanessa paused for a millisecond when she saw the two girls look at her. Based on the cold look the brown haired girl gave, Vanessa was sure that was Mai. She walked up to them, Sebastian close behind, and stopped about two feet from them. "Good morning! I'm Vanessa, how do you do?" Her voiced was peppered with a slight Irish accent, but was sweet, innocent, gentle, and kind. She was very soft spoken.
"Good and you?" Megan said before Mai could. She had a feeling Mai would say something bad. Megan straightened up and glanced at her motorcycle parked at the curb. Don't hit the cycle please she prayed to herself as her butler straightened out the limo.
Mai shrugged. "I've been better." She looked at Megan. "Honestly, I have never heard of that before, I have lived in England and we were only told to go through regular schooling and then we were done." She shrugged.
"We'll that's how it rolls here." Megan said with a grin. "Hey if you red a job I could use some helping hands in my garage." She added looking up at Mai.
Mai smiled, but it was a small one. "Sure. There really isn't much else a girl with a metal hand can do." She didn't know if they noticed her metal hand or not.
((Sebastian is behind Vanessa And I said nothing abot the limo? ))
Vanessa smoothed the front of her dress as Sebastian, behind her, nodded at the girls. Vanessa looked at the two. Her whitelighter side told her of the two girls' magical affinities. Vanessa put up her hands as if praying and held them under he chin, "So let me guess. You're Mai," she said tilting her head downwards at Mai, "and you're Megan?" she then said tilting her head at Megan.

((Lol the. Ignore the bike thing)) "Yep I'm Megan." Megan said feelin like a child again.
((we'll try not too. ))
Mai nodded. "I would be the one."
Mai nodded. "I would be the one."
"Glad to hear it. I'm your Whitelighter." Vanessa gave a bright grin as if she expected Mai to be happy too, but she knew Mai wouldn't be as enthusiastic.
Mai raised an eyebrow at Vanessa. "Exactly why do I need a WhiteLighter?"
Vanessa waved her body slightly. "Why are you a witch? It's something you can't help. Especially when things are about to get rough."
"Hey Mai, what's your affinity? Mine is for the five elements." Megan said sitting on the stoop.
"What do you mean things will get rough? Stupid Witch Clan has made my life hell this far!" Mai took in a deep breath, calming herself. "Mine is shape-shifting."
"COOL! Mine is just the elements." Megan said looking at her feet. "All five of them."
Vanessa nodded, "Yes....you've said that already." Vanessa released a slight chuckle. She turned back to Mai to explain, "Not everyone has a perfect life, and sometimes you just need a little help." She gave a comforting smile as she tilted her head slightly.
Mai rolled her eyes. "That doesn't explain why there wasn't a whitelighter around before? The Witch Clan not only beat me for every time I ran away, but they also killed my mother."
(Lol sorry) Just then Megan's phone buzzed. She looked down at the message. Car emergancy. "Hey I got to go, car 'mergancy." She said with a shrug putting her helmet back on. "Catch you later?" She said nodding towards Mai. Megan ran down the steps and mounted her motorcycle. "Just to let you know, I never got a white lighter." She said with a mechevious grin before she took off down be street.
