Kuro ran through the forest, dodging arrows as they were shot at her head. Yet again, her master has sent another person to try to kill or capture her. She found a sturdy oak tree and quickly climbed up it, trying to hide form the hunter. He ran by, searching for her. He looked both ways then ran to the left. It was clear that he hadn't seen her in the oak tree. She climbed down the tree with a relieved sigh. She snapped her fingers, calling her dragon, Suta. He swooped by and when Kuro stretched out her arm, he landed on it. "How far is he?" She asked him.
"About twenty feet away, still clueless to where you are." he spoke into her mind.

Beast was in the forest, resting in an oak tree, when he felt a tingle shoot down his spine. His gaze wondered until he saw a redheaded woman running towards him. After her little situation died down and she was making faces to a small winged creature, Beast crawled head first down the tree, flipping before he landed. "Hey, you OK? What was all that?" Beast's voice projected to Kuro. He jumped over her, landing in a tree on her other side. He sat in a branch, looking wide-eyed at her.
Karissa walked through the forest when she came across a couple arrows sticking out of the ground. She plucked one out of the ground, examining it. Curious, she followed the trail of arrows until it came to a stop. She sat where the arrows stopped, and plucked another one out of the ground. She flipped it over, making sure to take in every detail before she got bored and put it down.
(Kuro's personality is a LOT like Mai's. That's why I love them! )
Kuro looked over at the guy. "I'm fine and it was nothing." She said flatly. Suta flew up then landed on the ground. He turned into a human boy, but he looked about eleven or twelve, even thought he really was seven. "To be honest, that was a hunter that was sent to either kill her or capture her." He explained. That earned him a smack on the back of his head. "Suta! Can you for once keep your big mouth shut?"

Beast laughed at himself before dropping from the branch. Before he touched the ground he extended his arms and swung around the branch twice before sitting back in his original spot."I ain't no stranger to being chased." His voice sounded slightly devilish, yet attractive.
Kuro shrugged. "Neither am I. Of course, death is something that is hard to get use to. Once is horrible, the second time makes you rethink your life." She wanted to see if he could guess that she had experienced death once, and almost a second time but somehow managed to survive by will power and her knowledge of wounds.
Hearing voices close to where she was, Karissa's cutiosity got the best of her and she followed the voices. Comming up from behind a tree, she peeked her head out from behind and saw two figures, both with black and red hair. She could hardly understand what they were saying. The only words the she understood were the small and simple ones.
Beast ignored her hint and simply nodded. He wasn't a stranger to fatal situations. Beast's eyes perked up before his eyes shot at Karissa. He gave a toothy grin,"Hey..." His voice was directed to Karissa, but it may not have been obvious.
Kuro turned to look at Karissa, seeing how young she was. She walked over to the girl, bending at the knees to her height. "What are you doing all the way out her, sweetie?" Kuro said in a soothing and sweet voice. It was always a surprised to see Kuro act sweet and gentle, but it was possible.
Karisse, not understanding what Kuro had just said, outstretched her arms as if she were a child that wanted to be picked up.
Kuro smiled warmly at the little girl and picked her up. She had a feeling that she didn't understand her, which was going to be a problem.
Beast cocked an eyebrow up before scampering down the tree on all fours. He made hi way for Kuro and the girl and gave an innocent face. "You're a sneaky one aren't ya?"
Karissa gave him a blank stare and tilted her head sideways. "Sneaky?" she echoed.
Kuro glared at the guy then hit him. "She's a little girl and she doesn't understand much English."
Beast's reflexes warned him of the punch before impact. He took it anyway, he didn't want to freak her out. "She's like what? six? seven? And why'd ya hit me?" Beast looked her over. A tiny girl holding and even tinier girl. He held in a laugh as best as he could.
Kuro rolled her eyes. "Because your being mean to her. She is just a kid." She said, defending the little girl in her arms.
Beast crossed his arm sand leaned forward slightly. "Tell me one mean thing I did." It was more of an intimidating demand than everyday conversation voice.
As Krissa watched Kuro hit him and tried to copy the movement, punching the air.
Kuro smiled at Karissa and patted her head. "Looks like she knows who is better to copy."
"Or she could be 'just a kid' and not know any better." Beast gave a happy grin. He looked around, spotting the trail of arrows.
