Kuro had been walking through the woods when she came upon a town. She walked into the town, then looked up at the sky to see her pet dragon, Suta to fly over the town in a gray blur. She sighed and began to walk it the town. She was just about to pass a alley when someone grabbed her arm and put their othher hand other her mouth. Soon there was a dagger to her neck, threating to slit her throat. "You really believe that I would ever give up on capturing you?" A voice whispered in her ear. The voice was one Kuro knew all too well in it chilled her blood and sent her heart pounding. But it also filled her with rage and pain. It was the one person in the world that she could kill without remorse. Wang Sakuranbo.

A tall dark figure leaped from one of the buildings forming the alley down to the scene below. A pounding sound was heard, followed by a blunt crash. The figured had disarmed the man, and knocked him back, into a trash barrel. After coming into the light, the man baked up next to Kuro, facing Wang.

Kuro was glad to be freed form Wang's grasp, but was surprised that she didn't know who the other figure was. Why would someone save her without knowing her? She pondered but she was know ready to fight Wang and end this all.

Wang was annoyed with this guy. "Get out of this, it is none of your business!" He yelled at the man.

Beast gave a smug look. "Helping pretty ladies IS my business." He got in a fighting stance and was ready to attack, expecting Kuro to jump in.

(I will let you know that I suck at describing fighting scenes so I'm going to make Wang disappear, like always.)

Wang took a look at what he was up against, and clearly, he was outmatched. He pulled some bottle out and threw it down on the ground, making a cloud of dust. Tear gas. Kuro started coughing as her eyes watered up at the gas. She tried to find Wang but he was gone, just like that.

Beast waved away the smoke with a slight cough. "Sorry I couldn't be of more help," he said to Kuro. He turned to face her. "You ok?"

Kuro nodded, still coughing. "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm sure he'll come around again, he never gives up." She continued to cough until the tear gas cleared.

Beast waved away the last of the smoke. "Well anyway. I'm Beast, you?"

(It was 7 in the morning, you're computer is messed up. )

Kuro coughed one last time before looking up at Beast. "Kuro." She said, wiping the tears away form her eyes.

((oh, I was using the school's computer. that's why :o))

Beast extended his arm, "Charmed. I'm sure." His voice sounded smokey and sarcastic.

(Yeah, those computers are old and screwy! )

Kuro rolled her mismatched eyes. "So, why did you save me back there?"

Beast smiled, while looking confused at the same time. "You wouldn't help someone in trouble?"

Kuro shrugged. "Depends on how much trouble they are in."

Beast shrugged back. "Well I'm assuming at knife point is trouble enough."

Kuro nodded. "I bet anything he was planning to inject some kind of medicine to make me pass out."

Beast shrugged. "Well, what ever floats his boat. So where ya headed?"

"Other side of town." She said with a shrug.

"Well you're in luck. I'm headed the same way." Beast stepped closer.

Kuro nodded. "Alright, then we should get going." She walked out of the alley and started heading down to the other side of the town.

Beast followed right next to her. They came to a large fork in the road, "Which way ya headed?"
