Kemonomimi or 'animal ears' in its English translation, is a term used to describe humanoid characters who have some sort of animal characteristic, specifically appendages such as ears or tails. In my verse, these hybrids live amongst humans, and are quite the minority. Hybrids are persecuted for being what they are but not as eminently as they were in the past. In a way, its similar to the oppression many races have faced over the years and still do today in our own society. Many humans express their unrelenting hatred toward these creatures, but many simply allow them to live their lives in peace. That being said, a lot of kemonomimis simply resort to hiding their animal characteristics in some way to fit into the norm and stay safe.

We could explore the dynamics between a hybrid and a human. Where you’d play the owner and I’d play the hybrid. On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?

A peaceful setting, but with a chance for small fights and struggles to break out on a very small scale.
