"Besides your telescope, clothes, and toiletries, I think that is it."

"Okay then." He glanced at his watch and bolted upright like he had been electrocuted. "I think we should go back to work now, considering we've been out here five minutes longer than we were supposed to."

Belle quickly stood up and nodded. "Yeah, good thing we are near by the company." She collected her stuff, throwing away what was left of her food which wasn't much.

He tossed his empty box in the trash along with his water glass, which he had sucked dry by now. He checked to make sure he had everything, slightly paranoid that he had forgotten something.

Belle smiled over at him. "I think you have everything." She said, noticing that he was checking to see if he had everything.

"I think so too- you have everything? Of course you have everything... Okay, let's go..."

Belle nodded and began to walk back to the entrance.

He followed after her, his hands in his pockets.

"It was fun hanging out with you, Jason." Belle said, looking up at him with a small smile.

He smiled placidly back at her, blushing lightly. "Thanks... It was fun hanging out with you too. You're fun to talk with."

"Thank you, you're not bad yourself, McRan." She only called a few people by their last name, and even then it was rare.

"Thanks, Jackson," he replied with a smile.

She smiled at him. "No need to thank me."

"Beh," he grunted, opening the door for her and following her inside. "I'll see you tomorrow."
He was fairly ecstatic for the rest of the day, enough to ignore his boss's rant of being late.

Belle made it look like she was paying attention but she really was lost in her own thoughts. She would nod and say something that sounded that it fit. It was very convincing, the only thing to tell that she was not pay attention was the dazed look in her eyes. Once their boss was done ranting, she got back to her work.

Jason continued with his work as well, finally leaving around six so he could get home and prepare.
"I'll see you tomorrow," he said as he left.

Belle stood up. "Wait." She said. She met him at the door and gently kissed him on the cheek. "Thanks for hanging out with me today." She already felt her cheeks warm up.

Jason stood there, shell shocked. What- this- wait- WHAT?!
He slapped himself mentally, screaming at himself to wake up, and he finally broke into a dopey grin, blushing violently.
"Y-yeah... You too... F-fun... S-see you tomorrow... Hehehe..."

Belle giggled and smiled at him. "See ya tomorrow, Jason." She then went back to her cubicle to finish up her work so she could leave before ten.

"Yeah... See you then," he said, turning and bumping into the door. "Door," he commented, staring at it a moment before remembering how to open it. "Good night."
