Belle climbed in beside him, putting her suitcase in the back. "Not too far. Just have to drive out of town and into the more rural area. It is about thirteen miles, only a twenty minute drive."

"Oh. That's not bad at all," he said, a bit surprised. He had thought that it would take them all day to get there.

"Not really. We can try going horseback riding before it gets dark. My mother loves horses so we have two at the stable not far from the house. My mother taught me how to ride."

"Okay. Sounds fun." He pulled out of the parking space and onto the road. "We're going this way, right? Or do I have to turn around?"

"This way. There really isn't a lot of turns to take to get there. Once we get out of the city it is straight from there." She smiled at him.

"Fantastic. But with my sense of direction, we'll probably end up in Canada before I realize I went too far." He edged into the middle lane, glancing in the rearview mirror at the traffic behind him.

Belle laughed. "I have faith in you that well will get there just in time."

He smiled, laughing slightly. "Just barely."
Pretty soon they were on the highway on their way to the country house, leaving the city far behind.

Belle rolled her eyes but with a smile on her face. "Have some faith in yourself, Jason." She was glad to watch the city disappear and to start to see the countryside.

"Faith? What is that word- faith? It is alien to my ears," he replied sarcastically, smirking at Belle.

(JUST BEELEEVE IN URSELF, JASON )

Belle gave him a look that said "Seriously?" But she couldn't help but have a grin on her face. "Faith, meaning believing in something or someone, used a lot in religious context. Now you know." She replied back in a sarcastic voice.

(I BELIEVE I CAN FLY! I GOT SHOT BY THE FBI!! )

"Thank you, earthling. I shall now use this information to destroy the world!"

(I couldn't help it.)

(Oh dear lord. )

Belle bursted out laughing. "Pay attention to the road, alien." She said once she caught her breath but with a smile still on her face.

He laughed with her, grinning at his joke. It felt good to be funny; he hadn't been funny in a long time.
Then he got wondering if aliens really could destroy the earth with faith; probably not. But then it would depend on the kind of faith.
Hmm. That was interesting.

Belle hadn't been funny any awhile either, she usually choose to stay quiet and not really talk, but she felt like she never shut up with Jason around her. She could already see the country house in the distance. "We're almost there!" She said happily!

"That's it up there?" he asked, pointing at it. "Cool... I'm going to leave Orion in the car until night, just so a bird doesn't poop on the lens or something like that. That way we can just drag it out and set it up when night falls."

Belle nodded. "That would be the very one." The country house was one story with an atic, and all made of wood. "We need to go ahead and decided what rooms we're going be staying for the night. The country house has two bedrooms." She explained. One of the bedrooms were her parents room and the other was her's form when she was young. She rather take her parents room than her's because her's held memories she wanted to forget.

"Cute little house," he commented, parking out front and getting out. "I'll take either room, it doesn't matter."

Belle got out of the car, looking over the house, seeing that it was still in good condition. "Okay. I'll take my parents room, you can take my old room." There really wasn't much in her old room, a good size bed, a dresser with no clothes in it, and a mirror.

"Alright." He hauled his own suitcase out of the trunk, careful not to bump the telescope.
