Zeon trotted outside when Jason kicked him. He was trying to not to freak out about having a stranger on him, but he trusted Belle's judgement.

"Good horse," he sighed in relief, patting Zeon's side. "Alright, let's catch up with Belle."

Belle wasn't too far away. She looked behind to see that Zeon wasn't freaking out. She sighed in relief.

Zeon began to trott over to Belle and Fiella.

"He's a good horse," Jason commented, looking down at Zeon.

Belle nodded. "Yeah, he is a good horse. He is a sweetheart, I just doesn't want to show it."

He smiled slightly. "That's normally how it goes."

Belle nodded. "Yeah. You wanna race them?" She asked, a grin on her face.

"I guess," he said with a smirk, pushing his glasses up his nose in a not so intimidating manner.

Belle smiled. "Alright. The river will be the start, we have to race back to the house. First one wins, like always."

"Okay. I'll try not to die." He steered Zeon around and patted his neck. "You wanna win, Zeon?"

Belle smiled and nodded. "I don't think he would do that."

Zeon nodded eagerly.

He took a deep breath, looking at the house that looked so far away. "Gosh."

Belle smiled at him once they were both at the river. "You ready." She turned Fiella around.

"Yeah. Let's go."
He crouched slightly, the grip on the reins tightening.

Belle did the same thing. "On the count of three." She said as she ready Fiella. "One, two, three!" She said, kicking Fiella in the side, making the horse take off.

He did the same to Zeon, although he was extremely cautious as he did so, not wanting to freak the horse out.

Fiella wasn't far ahead of them.

He galloped along behind them, crouching low to the powerful horse's body.
"C'mon, Zeon, let's see how fast you can run," he murmured, trying to make sure his glasses didn't fly off.

Belle decided to let Jason win. She whispered into Fiella's ear "Slowed down a little, let's let them win, hmm?" She said as the horse began to slow down a bit, letting Jason and Zeon get ahead.

Jason was blissfully oblivious to Belle's plot, instead feeling rather happy as he took the lead. He honestly hasn't been expecting to win, but hey, he'd take it.
