Has anyone came across a program to help you write character descriptions? Like something you just fill in the blanks of info needed and though a few word swaps it makes a description of said character?

Just asking as sometimes I have trouble with making character descriptions...and something like this might be useful for getting a basic idea across, anyone know of anything like this?
QuickStart wizard here on RPR helps a lot with that. That's essentially what it is: filling in the blanks.
Instead of hitting "manual" or whatever the other option is, go QuickStart wizard instead and it makes it a lot easier.

Well that helps filling out your profile, not so much of writing the char description. I am asking about the description not the profile.

Writing the description isn't something that can be generated easily. The closest thing to a fill-in-and-admire tool is by using character sheets (like this, or this, or this) and picking out the physical description ones to put together yourself.

Remember that the point of a description is to be descriptive, so that your reader can form a visual in their mind from the words you wrote. If you get too fancy with your writing it will just confuse them and defeat the point.

This might mean a lot of your character descriptions will look alike though, but it's not a bad thing! Clarity before prose. :)

Again, the links you posted are for profile building. I am speaking of desc building. The problem isnt being too fancy with my words, its not that at all. The problem is having trouble getting the point across, with being unsure how to write said desc. I am only looking for something to help with desc's to help get a basic point across so it can be built off of.

But that's what I explained: take the basic physical description parts from those character sheets, then use those to write your description. You don't need to get fancy to get to the point, so this will work fine as a foundation. There are no tools that do this kind of writing for you, so if you're not sure what needs to go in your description this is a good way to accomplish what you want.

No necessarily true, I had once found a program where you put in simple blank spot info, and it generates a desc and each time it does it, they just swap some words around so its always semi different. I just am unable to find it now. Anyway I know what you mean in using char sheets to help write desces but this isnt what the thread is about.

Has one or two things that meet what you are looking for. You're not gonna really find many things that do what you're asking, but those are at least a start and what Sanne suggested also works. You have to do what you have to do in order to make it by!
