The falcon let out a triumphant cry and cicled over her, swooping lower until it alighted on a branch near her, it shifted once again into a handsome young man with tanned skin and Oíche's distinguishing red-orange eyes, he flashed her a smile of perfect white teeth, and then laughed, "Haha! See? No one can out-run or out-fly the Wind-Chaser! That was a fun game, and you certainly give it a shot..."

The creature cocked his head curiously, "Hm? so, you have claws and you fly... you are very odd for a Human. Were did you learn such magic? Ah! Wait, don't tell me... you said you followed a Goddess, didn't you? A nature deity? Hmm... you must be one of Linda's witches... or was it Lara? Lisa? Leopold?" He snorted and shook his head, "Eh, who cares. It began with an L."

Evelyn simply rested there where she sat, body going limp against the broader part of the tree, rump against an outstretched limb. She only wished to regain her breath, and from there she would, especially if she wasn't required to talk much.

When he finally spoke, she looked up to him and stared. "No one really knows of Lita. But I suppose as a deity of sorts you would, that makes sense. But yes, on a journey a short while ago I had some artifacts that allowed me to assume partial forms of animals, such as having claws or situational wings. When I was able to meet her she made it so the necessity for such artifacts was no longer needed. But anyway, I lost, you won. What is your next game? I'm assuming it'll be something just as goofy and childish as guessing a name or racing?" She was teasing of course. And the race was her idea after all!

Oíche chuckled, "Goofy? Childish? Oh, I can be serious if I want... but where's the fun in it? I used to be a very serious creature once you know... a very long time ago, but I got bored of it. Oh, and I never said I was a deity... only that some Humans have called me such, just as they have called me a Demon, or a Faerie or a Spirit." The creature stood up on the branch, balancing effortlessly, then he jumped, flipped in the air and landed on his hands, still perfectly balanced on the branch, "I don't care what they call me." He lifted one hand away so that he was balancing on the branch by one hand, "I just want some amusement... and I've had it. I could play another game, but I fear you're a little out of breath... and it's no fun to play with someone too tired to even breath right."

He looked at her and flashed her another smile, then he pushed off with his hand, flipped again in the air and landed back on the branch on his feet, before sitting back down on it, resting against the trunk, "If you plan on travelling, I'd suggest reading up on a few of my fellow Tricksters. You never know if you might meet Coyote or poor Loki on the road somewhere... though if you do meet Loki, I'd suggest that you don't mention Sleipnir to him." Oíche chuckled, "He gets so defensive about that foal, though I suppose you would be if you gave birth to a horse."

(ACK this got lost in my feed haha sorry!)

Evelyn was fine now, she just needed to stop running. "I likely will keep to myself the rest of the trip. Keeps me out of trouble that way," she said with a little chuckle. No running into Loki for her! Hell no. Even then she didn't know who this Coyote and Loki were, but if they were like Oiche, they'd distract her for a bit of a while and may not be as pleasant as he turned out to be.

The girl wasn't even about to comment on the giving birth to a horse bit. She couldn't fathom childbirth as it is, and giving birth to such a beast was painful just thinking about it! "And I'm fine. I merely needed to rest a while." She got up to her feet and stretched. "If you're burnt out on games though I suppose I could begin my trip again?"

Oíche grinned and laughed, "Me? Burned out on games!? Hah! That is the funniest thing I've ever heard... you've met me, human-child... the again, I do get bored easily, but I always think of new things to do." The shape-changer laughed again and shook his head, "What is so important that you want to rush off and leave my delightful company, does my razor-sharp wit and towering intellect offend?" The trickster stretched lazily, almost cat-like, and frowned slightly, cocking his head to one side, "What is it like to be so boring? Honestly, how can you stand it? It must be so terribly dull."
((this one?))

((Yeah, this is it))
Sethalith was walking in the opposite direction they had been racing in, the smell of sulfur surrounding him. Occasionally he would pause and sniff the air, similar to that of a hound tracking a scent.

Evelyn glanced up at Oiche when he asked what was so important. She smiled and shrugged. "Nah, it's none of that. Honestly, I'm just a little skittish of things that lurk in forests. I don't like to remain in one spot for too long." And to the question concerning how boring she was, the girl grew very flushed and wide-eyed. WHY I NEVER!

"Ah- wha- hey! N-no!" Apparently she didn't know how to talk when she was embarrassed. "I am not boring! I'm just... skittish. Not boring! See?" She then began to do jumping jacks, as if that was excessively entertaining. Perhaps her desperate attempts were entertaining enough? Ah, whatever. Eventually she'd stop.

The nature-loving witch-hippie-girl noticed a disturbance in the direction of Sethalith. By disturbance, it was mostly from the fleeing animals. She couldn't smell the sulfur, so she didn't know that that could have played a part. For now she ignored it, knowing she could always just fly away if it's something she wouldn't normally want to encounter.

The shapeshifter stared at the jumping girl in mute astonishment for several long seconds and the burst into gales of laughter, "Bwhahahahah! Oh Odin that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen!" He was rolling around on the branch, convulsing with laughter, though how he managed to avoid falling off of it and plummeting to the ground was a mystery, "I haven't seen anything so amusing in ages! Aah..."

He wiped tears from his eyes and, still smirking, he shook his head, "Whilst your bouncing is quite amusing, it isn't exactly what I-" He cut himself off and sniffed the air, then he wrinkled his nose and grimaced, "Eugh! Brimstone? Who's stinking up my forest?" He turned his eyes back on the girl, "it's not you is it? Eugh, by Enlil's nostrils, that stench is making my eyes water."
Sethalith emerged from the bushes a moment later, sniffing the air. He glanced at the two of them then hesitated but started off again.

Evelyn grew frustrated. She didn't mean to make him laugh! She wasn't sure what she was trying to accomplish now that she thought back on it. Her frustration was interrupted by the scent of sulfur, then the sight of something quite inhuman. Due to her previous encounter with a more chaotic being, she did have a bit of prejudice against beings of his kind. Not only that, but she'd never even seen anything sentient and chaotic (chaotic being a better word in her mind for demonic; it's much more general). She kept her guard up. Sorry, guy, no offense, she just... doesn't like demonic-lookin' things!

The frustrated expression on Evelyn's face only served to amuse the shapeshifter further, but luckily for her the newcomer caught the mercurial creature's attention, "Oh? What have we here? Another trespasser in my forest, and it looks like he's the one stinking it up to... haven't seen a demon in a while."

Oíche jumped down from the tree, landing gracefully on the forest floor below before shapeshifting into his favourite black fox form, he gave chase to the demon and soon came out ahead of him, he eyed the creature for a moment and then said, "So, what're you looking for big fella? I don't often find your kind in my forest..." The little black fox snorted and wrinkled his nose, "and now i remember why. Do you have to emit that noxious odour? Maybe you could try bathing..."
"Bathed or not the scent of Hell still pours off of me, and I would prefer to be called a Devil if not by my name." The 'Devil' seemed rather irritated at being called a demon, "I would be looking for a demon that made an attempt on my life, that was a mistake."
Evelyn (played anonymously)

Evelyn looked visibly uncomfortable. "Being such a creature is nothing to accentuate," she muttered, hopefully quietly enough to be unheard. Yeah, she wasn't too fond of such creatures. Her expression was that of discomfort, frustration, and a pinch of nervousness (mainly because of her inexperience in dealing with actual devils and knowing her filter is severely lacking right now). Her eyes wouldn't focus on either of them.

She was itching to fly away or hide somewhere. She didn't, though.
