Hello ,I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good video games that I should play? I normally either use steam or buy the games off of the microsoft store on my Xbox. If anyone can help , then I usually go for games settled in the horror genre, sometimes action but mostly horror. If anyone knows some good games that are not in those one specific genre range then feel free to recommend those as well.

I have a few recommendations;

The Elder Scrolls (Skyrim, Online, Oblivion, Morrowind, doesn’t matter)

Fallout (3, 4, NV maybe)

Destiny (1-2)

Anthem (possibly)

Mostly the first three, but others would be ok.

Fallout 3 > Fallout 4, imo, despite the graphics haha but both are good

Slime Rancher is a cute little farming game
Mass Effect (the original trilogy) is a game I will always recommend, definitely my favorite game series ever.
Dragon Age Origins and II are both good; Inquisition was aight, not bad tho

Payday 2.

Metal Gear Solid series. (Personal Favorite is Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.)

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Dishonored.

Code Vein.

Red Dead Redemption.

Red Dead Redemption 2.

Fallout New Vegas.

Metro Exodus.

Mirror's Edge.

Minecraft.

Assassin's Creed Ezio's Trilogy. (Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, Revelations.)

Assassin's Creed Origins.

Warframe. (Which I DEFINATELY recommend. Its better than Destiny, and its FREE.)

If you are into pixel graphics i recommend Katana Zero really amazing game.

If you are into horror, there is a new game that should be released soon this year, its called Lust From Beyond.
It's already on Steam, but not available to buy yet.

Amnesia (Not Machine for Pigs. The original! I can not recommend this enough. It scared the crap out of me!)

Resident Evil 3, 4 or 5.

Silent Hill 1 or 2

Left 4 Dead

Left 4 Dead 2

Walking Dead (Telltale-1st or 2nd)

The Last of Us
