~Plot: The world is under fire from the terror of the Mimics, an alien species hell-bent on destroying Earth. YC is being deployed to their first sortie when...

she dies.

However, her death has not gone to waste, for she has destroyed a strange-looking Mimic in the process. Her death shall be honored among all the others who have fallen as well.

That is, until she wakes up the day before that battle. Her friend hops up from outside, inviting her for a drink. The exact same things were repeating from her "dream." One might even call it Deja Vu. So, YC proceeds through the day, thinking that it was just a nightmare

Until the exact same sortie comes again and she dies again.

She wakes up once again, in the same spot the day before the battle. Your friend hops up from outside... the same things were happening in the exact way as his/her's nightmare. Just like a time loop. It's up to her to find a way out from this nightmare.

And until then, all YC has to do... is kill, kill, and kill!

Or is it really that simple? Because just nearby, a man is having the same case as her, and he's struggling to get out of it as well. The only difference is that he's already experienced it before...~

Ey. My first time giving a RP topic in the forums, and am quite proud of it, if I do say so myself. Anyway, yes, I know this seems familiar to "Edge of Tomorrow," and you're right; it actually is the damn plot.

But actually, I'd like you to pretend that never existed and instead take a look at the manga from which it was based on, that being "All You Need Is Kill". Highly recommend you read it before doing this RP with me, so we'll have better chemistry. Trust me, it won't take up an hour.

Moving on, this RP will be just like how the manga happens. One of us will become a veteran soldier, who's fought in so many previous Mimic wars back in the day. How he/she did this, was through the power of the time loop, in which the rookie will receive. This Rookie, who unintentionally receives the power to loop back time in each death, will be the other partner (you or me). Both of us shall fight the Mimics until the Rookie can get out of this time loop. Simple and straightforward

Oh yeah, I'm also looking for someone to play as a female, since I want a bit of romance in this, hence, the (MxF) tag.

I'd much prefer we fade-to-black when we're in those intimate scenes. Wouldn't want to get too carried away now, would we?

What I'm asking will be quite heavy because I don't wish for any of us to get bored during the middle of our RP. And so, here are my guidelines:

1. Be able to give details really properly (Kind of obvious)
2. Be able to give a minimum of 3 paragraphs in each response (excluding conversations) [we can discuss this]
3. Be able to discuss the plot without anger issues (I will not tolerate anyone suddenly shouting because they don't like what happened to their character. We shall discuss this like the proper members of society we are.)

To decide on my partner, I'll have tryouts. You give me your starter from the info I have just given, and from that, I shall see if we can RP with each other.

I'm super sorry if I'm being strict. It's just that I want us to value our RP together. I don't want another random one in which replying feels like a chore. I want to have a RP that's special. That makes us both want to please the other and value it much more than just another RP. (Kudos to Sweet_Little_Sock for giving me this advice. He/she told me that I was being too strict on my forum)

Alright. I think we can RP. But before we start, I'd like to do a test. A tryout, basically.

With the information of YC that I gave, I'd like to see your starter. When you're done, PM it to me. We're not going to start RPing immediately so just wait for a couple more days. Say, 3 or 4 days? This is because I want to see who else would like to join. I'd like to give them the same tryout as well for a fair game (assuming there will be people that join)

If no one else joins, then I can accept you, and I'll close this. Sounds good?

You do come off as strict and uptight, even more with ‘ I’m trying you out to see if I love you or not, and if I don’t I will replace you.’

It doesn’t exactly feel very nice to know that you might just dump me for someone else without really understanding the way behind it.

Add your why, it will come off as a reason for having a rule. It’s extremely important that people don’t feel like it’s a game of favouritism. Which it is, but it doesn’t have to feel like it.

Just add a little paragraph of why you are picking the one you like the must, it just helps to understand where you are coming from and such.
