They walked for a while, until it got dark. That was when he dropped Josh and sat down next to him, leaning against a tree.

After a few seconds,Josh starts to wake up.

Shane looked down at him, watching him stir.

Had finally given up on the whole escape and get away thing.

Beyond just sits there,looking at Josh.

Shane sighed deeply, closing his eyes. When was the last time he had slept?
He couldn't remember. That was saddening.

Josh just sits there. Wonder if they'll ever let me go..or will they kill me first.. he thinks

He forced his eyes open again, resting his chin on his chest. He couldn't sleep; not now. Maybe later, but not now.

Beyond pulls out his knife and just digs a small hole in the dirt out of boredom as he sits there.

Josh just watches me

Shane yawned and stretched, straightening out as he stiffened his long limbs. He really was tall, and most of that height came from his legs. He drew them back in to his chest as he remembered what he was going to do.
"What state are we in?" he asked Josh.

(Random state,random state,must think of a random state.) "South Dakota"

"So... That means I have to go... Southeast...? Hmm..."

Josh just goes back to watching Beyond dig in the dirt with his knife.

"What month is it?" he asked, looking over at Josh. He had lost count. Everything sort of blurred together after seven years.

"June."

"June," he sighed, sounding oddly wistful.

Beyond just jabs his knife into the ground out of nowhere.

He glanced over at Beyond, then back at the ground.
"June... June, June, June..."

"It doesnt feel like June"

"No, it doesn't," he said mournfully, rubbing his face with his hands.

goes back to playing his with knife. "Agreed"
