"So helpful," Shane muttered sarcastically. "I mean if there's a town nearby... If we just keep walking we should hit something at some point."

"Guess we'll just have to try our luck"

"Yep." He stopped to listen and take a look around, considering climbing another tree to try to spot some landmarks or towns or something like that.

He scrambled up the tree, climbing all the way up to the top to look around.

Looks up at you,knowing what your doing.

He balanced there precariously, finally starting to climb back down. "There looks to be something a few miles due north."

"a town,maybe?"

"I think so. It's small, but it looks to be a little town. Let's go."

"The smaller the better,in your case at least." he says as he starts to walk

"Exactly. The smaller the town, the less chance I have of getting caught."

"And smaller towns take longer than bigger towns to find out about stuff,maybe they haven't heard about you being loose."

"Maybe so..." He thought about it for a moment as he walked along behind Josh.

"I'm not sure. Surely you guys have sent out warnings about me, the psycho killer," he said, waving his hands slightly.

"The officers dont send out the warnings,thats the chiefs job...so i'm not sure which places he has and hasent informed"

"Hmm. Hopefully this place is so off the grid they don't even know I exist."

"Guess we just have to wait and see."

They walk in silence for about a mile or two. Not saying a single word.
