"Way better off..." He glanced around again in paranoia, wondering where the officers were and what they would do if they saw Josh with him.

"i dont think.-" his words get cut off by a sudden sound of a police siren in the distance."i stand corrected"

Quick as a flash, Shane grabbed Josh's hand and bolted for the cover of the woods, his long stride carrying him quickly into the trees.

Josh tries to keep up with you,he doesnt do a good job at it either.

He dragged him along, finally stopping once they were in the safety of the underbrush. Panting heavily, he looked around, trying to pinpoint the position of the cops.

the sirens had faded some once we ran into the woods

"Alright, c'mon," he whispered, leading Josh around the outskirts of the town. "If we go this way, we'll be able to kinda dodge around the town and keep going in our original direction- keep your head down!"

Josh tilts his head down,hiding his face behind his little bit of bangs.

He skittered along the edge, looking around warily for signs of cops.

An officer follows us so sneakily that even Shane,wouldnt know he's following.
Josh follows behind you.

"Okay, c'mon," he said, quickening his pace slightly as they finally made it past the town.

(a just have to,lets see..) The officer comes up behind Josh and grabs him..what?! "SHANE!"
The officer starts to take Josh away,very fast,.The officer hides behind a tree covering Joshs mouth so he cant yell.The officers using Josh to draw Shane in.

"JOSH!" He whirled, unsheathing his knife like a silver flicker. He noticed the movement of the cop as he drew back behind the tree and let out a low snarl, advancing slowly towards the tree like a panther that's spotted its prey.

The officer knows your coming over here.But just to draw you further towards civilization,He runs,the officer can run awful fast,Josh just plays as a rag doll,Trying to get away from the officer,but the officers to strong.The officer runs through the wood,in the direction we once had came.

Shane can run awful fast as well- he sprinted after the cop, though he didn't want to throw his knife in case he hit Josh instead by accident. No, he'd save that for close range combat.

The officer ran,drawing you in.Not letting go of Josh.He ran like his life depended on it.Which at this point,it probably did..

Shane followed, realizing what was going on, but he didn't want to leave Josh behind.

Josh realizing what the officers doing to.Lead him to civilization so he can capture Shane,and him not attack,or as the officer thought,not knowing more than likely Shane still would.
Josh prys the officers hand off his mouth just enough to say "Dont follow" the officer gets his hand back over Joshs mouth,more securely this time.
