Writing Josh's odd behavior off to shock from his traumatic experience, the officer patted him on the back and steered him out, apologizing again for shooting him and going off on his separate way.
Shane flinched back as his shadow crossed over the small window on the door, ducking his head and curling his shoulders forward in a protective position, like a dog that's been beaten one too many times.

I will return for you Shane, tonight he thought as he walked down the hallways(Lol its always dogs)
(Ikr? At least he's not a puppy this time xD)
Shane turned away again as he saw Josh's shadow pass by, although he didn't realize that it was Josh. If he had realized that, he would've been so deeply hurt it wouldn't even be funny.

(that is true)
-many hours later- Josh returns,in his work outfit,he checked in and he pulls his hat down examining the halls,he had brought a deskise(however you spell it i dont know),thinking it would help Shane in the escape attempt. He had it hidden in his pocket. He started to walk down the hallways towards Shanes room.

(Lol)
(Disguise?)
Shane was still in the same position that he was before, although he was dozing somewhere between being asleep and being awake. He most definitely not going to sleep fully; he was still somewhat awake, awake enough to still be thinking about his predicament.

(thats it! thats how it was spelled!) Joshs hat was covering his eyes,he looked around saw nobody, took out his keys and unlocked your door, and walked in.
Shane's eyes flicked up, filled with fear, and he scrabbled backwards deeper into his corner, his teeth bared slightly in the beginnings of a snarl. His breathing quickened again and his shoulders tensed, ready to curl up again if he attacked.
Josh closed the door and locked it again "Don't worry, its just me" Josh said, looking over at you.
He wasn't really able to comprehend; all he saw was the uniform, and the fact that he locked the door again. His animal and survival instincts were in full gear, and he flinched away as Josh came closer.
Josh crouched beside you, flicking to rim of his hat up,so you could see his face.
He glanced over as no hit came, and eventually dim recognition flared in his eyes, scared as they may be. He still didn't relax, however- he was still as wound up and tense as a spring as he looked at Josh. He didn't know what he was going to do, and at this point he was at his mercy, so he was going to remain tensed like this until Josh did whatever he was going to do.
"As you already know,i'm not going to hurt you. However,i am going to help you escape." he said with determination
He raised his head slightly, his wide brown eyes studying his face. Eventually he spoke in a quiet, hoarse voice (it still hadn't recovered completely from being blow out during the first thirty minutes):
"Why?"
"Why?"
"You don't like this place, right?,so why stay?"
"You make a good point, but why are you helping me- you know what, let's talk about this later." He gulped to ease his throat and jerked his head at the straightjacket. "Get me out of this thing, will ya?"
Josh nods, and goes behind you to get the straight jacket off,it takes him a fair 10 seconds but it comes off.
His shoulders tensed again as Josh left his sight, and he scrambled away as the straightjacket came off, rubbing his shoulders and arms furiously to get the stiffness out.
"I've learned that i hate straight jackets.Then again,who doesnt?"
"Torture devices from hell," he muttered bitterly, flexing his shoulders and standing up. He was a little better now that the thing was off, but he still looked extremely apprehensive, especially around Josh.
"oh,just so they cant immediately tell that its you with me." He pulls out the out fit out of his pocket,it was his extra work outfit,he figured it would help right about now. "Make escaping a bit more easier, not much, but some."
