This statement caught him by surprise. He tilted his head slightly, staring curiously at Josh.
"What do you mean by that?"

"I meant what i said,your not,like the rest of them in that place,...."his words faded off on that last word. He looked over at you.

He was staring at Josh in curiosity, wondering what he could possibly mean by that.
"How am I so different? I always thought I was the same..."

"They are 100% psycho ,your not,your different than them,."

"So I'm not 100%? Now that's funny."

"funny?.." he asked curiously.

"I've always been seen as a mental case through and through, and now here you are, telling me I'm not. Why?"

"Think.They never spent this much of a time with you outside of that place,besides,its not like your killing people on a 24/7 365 day basis."

"Just every now and then. Killing other people isn't exactly normal behavior for humans, that's why I was there..." He shrugged, looking at Josh. "You're an interesting guy."

"Thats a first."

"This is a first too."

"Guess thats two for a first"

He shrugged, staring at the ground. "Three, technically. I've never hugged anybody before, whether receiving or giving. I understand now why people like it so much, why they do it all the time..."

"Seems a lot of for a first time things are happening today." he said with a slight smile.

"Yeah," he mumbled assent, shuffling his feet in the ground.

Josh nods,he just noticed the hat that was once on his head must've flew off,Oh well,it's not like im ever going to need it again..

With a sigh he sank into a tired little heap at the base of the tree, letting out all of his breath in a whoosh. "What a day."

Josh sat down on the grass. "Your telling me."

He curled up there, too exhausted to even reply. Pretty soon he had fallen asleep in his nest of leaves and twigs like a little black fox.

Josh looked over at Shane,come to think of it,ever since that night,he never had seen Shane sleep once.Makes a 4th first time,for him.
