This an RP about Camp Half-Blood it isn't cannon so don't freak out about none Cannon things.

Sweet heart once I'm gone you need to find it before they find you That was the last thing Josh Harrison's mother had told him in her hospital bed clinging on to her life for her son, fighting lung cancer. There was so much she had yet to tell him, but it seemed he would have to seek the answers from someone else now...it's not like he could talk to the dead. He couldn't let child services take him and his step-sister Autumn. He had taken the city bus back to his mom's apartment and packed all he could even the thing he knew that wasn't life or death: his dad's acoustic guitar. He hadn't known him but his mother assured him that music was important to him and he would be proud knowing how well Josh could play. He never asked what happened because cancer pushes that kind of stuff aside...and now I'll never know he thought taking his stepsister's hand and taking the bus as far as it would take them towards the scrawled address his mom had scribbled down. Then they started their two day long trip down through heavy woods strange for New York but not the weirdest thing Josh had seen...or weirder than the figure following them.

The figure following them...at least, the figure closest in proximity to the pair...was a young man, maybe 14 or 15 years old, with a head of unruly brown curls, a worried expression and what appeared to be the legs of a goat. His face was pale and he chewed his bottom lip as he cautiously approached. "I, um. Which ones are you?" He knew Joshua was a half-blood, that much was obvious, he couldn't tell with the girl, but...which one was he? "I mean, what are your names? Don't stop walking, it's important to keep moving..."

A young girl with long braided platinum hair wearing all black sits in near a large stone gate as she waits for new arrivals. She scowls at the old letter in her hands from her father Lir. She tends to be an outsider at camp because unlike most the students her father is a Celtic god and not of the normal Greek or Roman origins. Many classify the young girl as a banshee because she has the power to cross to the Nether world and a death song that can stop a centaur in its tracks. She watched for the new students as she sees them coming over the crest of a large hill. she stands and her death song starts to burn in the back of her throat. "RUN YOU, IDIOTS."

josh made the mistake of looking behind the nervous boy and what he saw in the distance sent a chill down his spine. He signed in ASL (American Sign Language) run boy not even knowing if the boy could understand it. He took Autumn's hand and sprinted to the yelling girl. He hadn't let Autumn look behind them like he had because even knew he was going to have nightmares of that thing.

Lemon runs up meeting the group halfway up the hill "to the stone gate quickly" she lets the group pass her then she turns and runs behind them. Lemon barely flings herself through the gate but unbeknownst to her the nasty beast nicks her leg with its horn. As Lemon rolls to safety and stands her leg starts bleeding but her blood is not red but dark blue. "Hello, halflings my name is Lemonmay" She holds out a hand.

The ASL had been completely lost on him, and he shook his head slightly, murmuring, "I don't know what that..."then he was cut off by the sound of someone screaming at them and he glanced over. an ancient Greek curse slipped from his mouth and his pupils slitted with panic. He made sure the other kids had a head start, and then he ran after them.

When they reached the gate, he let out a shuddering breath. "Hey, you're hurt..."

Autumn asked "what that thing we just ran from?" signing as she spoke from habit. They both looked beyond freaked out
Josh also signed but did not speak Thank you lady. Also your blood is blue is that normal?
"I can translate if ya need me too." Autumn said taking the mystery girl's hand and shaking it.

Lemon looks at her leg and shrugs before shaking the little small girl's hand" just a scratch and the blue blood is one of my traits since in a portal between worlds and that beast was just a simple minotaur." Lemon turns away from the kind girl and looks with a steely gaze at Grover "You should know better than to wake him, you idiot" There was a slight Irish lilt to her voice when she spoke that was almost intoxicating if you listened to her for too long. "What are these two anyways Grover they don't show signs of any of the large houses"

Grover gave a hurt frown. "I didn't! I was being carrrrrreful." The last word came out in a plaintive bleat and he blushed faintly. "The boy's a half-blood, I can smell it on him. The girl...I dunno..." He gave a helpless shrug.

"Half-blood?" Autumn asked she was fiddling nervously with a little rune in her pocket.
what do you mean? Josh sighed

Grover shifted, hooves shuffling against the ground. "Half-blood. Um. Half human, half god. It's easier to tell with older kids, the scent isn't strong with younglings..." He turned his attention to Joshua for a moment. "You only know one of your biological parents, right?"

Autumn motioned "no no a good idea"

yeah she is not he looked pained having to accept it and he finished she is dead now. Cancer "we only have each other." Autumn finished.

Lemon lets out a long sigh, then walks and leans close to Grover's ear whispering and jutting her jaw towards the boy "I want to sing when I'm around him but it isn't the same as when someone has a death ora, we should be on guard" she glares passed the little girl and directly at the boy named Josh. "Well we need to know so we can find you the right cabin to live in. maybe you'll be lucky and live alone like me." lemon hasn't shown a smile yet and her white sock is now a dark blue however her injury is almost completely healed.

I am very sorry but I cannot be special. My dad left a long time ago and only left his guitar behind he signed and took it out of his backpack. He just simply strummed a chord and shrugged. He didn't notice that the strings had glowed when he touched them because he had kept his eyes on the blond girl.

He tilted his head to Lemon's whispering, brow furrowed, then gave her a slight nod. "Yeah..." He whispered back. There was definitely something different happening here. And the guitar strings glowing just confirmed it.

"Don't worry too much if you don't know your divine parent, and believe me, your dad's the parent in question, you can stay in the Hermes cabin...unless..." A thought occurred to him and made a worried little sound in his throat. "If she's a mortal, she can't stay..." He gave a slight nod to Autumn.

"OOO this is quite the mystery," Lemon ponders a moment more, "I thought she wouldn't be able to get past the gate if she was mortal. in all honesty, they can't stay in Hermes they are supposed to be hidden or at least that's what the old fart said... sooo I guess they can stay in my cabins" Lemon steps toward the guitar and she reaches her hand out brushing the tips on the guitar suddenly her hand feels as if it caught on fire. "MOther flipper... what" Lemon shakes her hand wildly but the pain is too much. slowly the song burns the back of her throat and she opens her mouth letting out an earth-shattering cry as the song or cry continues a large fog starts to form at the feet of the group and there seems to be an overlapping of the underworld and the world they are standing in. tears stream down lemons face and she tries to cover her mouth and reaches out for help to stop before she takes them all to the underworld.

Autumn takes her rune out of her pocket as she and Josh stumble back in shock and she squeezes the rune as tears stream down her face and a sudden moment of peace fills the air. The small girl rushed up to Lemon and gives her a hug.

Josh looked just as fearful I am so so sorry. I do not know why that happened he signed

lemons song becomes softer and she can fnally manage to get it under control and she stops.

finally she yells in an irate voice "Who is your father, You must be a big child" her eyes began to swirl with many colors and he accident deepens as she speaks " You should stay hidden till we figure this out"

But where would we go? We have no home anymore. At least no home I need to Autumn back to Josh signed his eyes started to tear up. He was all too used to yelling. His mother had had an ex that had conditioned Josh into thinking that yelling always leads to pain. the collar on his shirt had shifted to show the faint scar on his throat. Just please let us stay. We can't go back. One of my mom's exes would get us. we can't go back to Ryan he signed. When he signed "Ryan" Autumn's eye widened.
