A hike through the woods was usually an uneventful process.
A hike through the woods said to be inhabited by an ancient, man-eating Fae? A little more involved.
But either way, you find yourself crossing those very woods, along with a small caravan of traders. Despite the dangerous rumors, taking this path was far less risky than crossing through bandit territory- though the folk in their carts and on horses whispered anxiously between eachother as dusk began to settle.
There was the cracking of sticks, and a loud rumbling sound- horses reared up and the traders began to panic, until a massive mantis Fae tumbled from the trees and onto the road ahead.
She groaned in pain- and again, the rumbling noise. The caravan was frozen in fear and yet the strange creature didn’t pay any mind, slowly getting to her... well, you assumed those were her feet.
She offered a dizzy smile, brushing a stray braid back from her face, “Pardon me strangers- would you be willing to share some food with a poor starving fae?”

this RP can TOTALLY go lots of different ways- maybe you want to capture the fae, maybe you want to become friends or go on some epic quest- I’m totally flexible with this plot! If we want to go the epic quest route I wouldn’t mind making this a group RP- maybe just two or three people. Otherwise, I intend to keep this 1 on 1.
