"Separate homes, but not to far from each other just in case something was to happen, I got my own place so you can stay there until you and Suta get on your feet" Taki smiles at Kuro hoping that all the big changes wont be to much for her. Taki turns his head to look at Suta "You'll like it there to Suta I live across the street from a really big park so you can play with kids your own age" Taki said chuckling under his breath knowing how angry it would make Suta.
Kuro nodded. " That sounds good. It wouldn't be hard to find an apartment seeing as Suta won't sleep anywhere but next to my head in his dragon from." She giggled at what he said to Suta. "Excuse you, but I'm very mature for my age, unlike you, Taki." He growled at the blonde. "Play nice you two." Kuro said with a grin.
Taki laughs "Well just make sure that that maturity only comes out around family, to everyone else your a seven year old kid,so you have to act like it". Taki sat back getting a confuse look on his face "What about you?" he said smiling over at Kuro driving "Your going to have a whole new life, what are you going to do?"
"I might be seven but I look twelve, for your information." Suta glared at Taki. Kuro shrugged. "I need to finish my senior year of high school, from there I don't know. I never really thought that I would ever get a chance to be free." She really believed that she would never get the chance to move on with her life because of her master. "Well, once I find a good job and have the money, I'll try to visit some old friends. I know Suta misses Danu and Star for sure."
"It doesn't matter Suta your still a kid and the things that you do in front of us will get you notice if you do it in front of other people and that's attention we don't need, so just be a normal kid in front of normal people....please?" Taki says through the rearview mirror, "Who's Duna and Star I thought only you and Suta made it out of that place?" he says looking at Kuro.
Suta crossed his arms over his chest and pouted. "Danu and Star are friends of mine that I met on my travels around the world with my master. They are close friends of mine and I haven't been able to talk to them in awhile so I don't know if they are still alive and they don't same about me."
"Oh, we'll get into with them when everything is settled" Taki says looking at Suta pouting in the back "If you don't mind me earlier you said you tried having a relationship before, but it didn't work out...What happen there?, KURO!?" Taki says emphasizing he wants Kuro to answer and not Suta.
Kuro tensed up but tried to cover it with a shrug. "W-well" she began to blush. " all I really say is he wanted more than what I would give so I left. Simple as that. It really isn't something you need to worry about." Suta glared out the window, it was clear that he didn't like Kuro's ex.
"Sorry, I didn't know I was heading a swore subject I'll make sure not to bring that up again" Taki says laying back and closing his eyes "Wake me if you want me to drive or if you see the city, if not then just remember the docks is were we're heading"
Kuro nodded. "Alright. It shouldn't be too long before we get there. Suta, you need some sleep too." Suta nodded and laid across the seats in the back of the car.
She continued to drive for a few more hours until she started to see the lights of the city. She lightly shook Taki awake. "I guess we are here. Where is the docks at?"

Taki wakes up checking his phone to see the time "We're early, guess we're going to beat them there" he says looking up at the city that he calls home, there was no place he would rather be then they city to him this was a place were someone could hide in plain sight and still have a life. "We're already at the edge of the city just make a right when you get off the bridge and keep going until the oceans in your way"
Taki looks at Kuro watching the city go by "How do you like it?"

Kuro nodded and followed to where the docks were. "It is really pretty out here. I never been in a city before, I always kept to the forest." She smiled, seeing the beautiful lights flow by as she drives.
Once Kuro stops by the docks Taki gets out of the car and breaths in the city air "Aww that just smells...like fish" he said laughing "I've really missed this place and your going to love it here I promise". Taki looks in the back of the car to see Suta still sleep "So when you get yourself and Suta settled in, how about we Time Square together?,were the lights are bright"
Kuro got out of the car once they got to the docks, letting Suta sleep. She sighed but smiled at Taki. "Maybe we should let Suta sleep, he is a still growing boy. He needs it more than I do." She smiled softly looking over at the sleeping boy. "We should go together, I would like to see it."
Taki sat on the cars hood waiting for his family to come pick them up "So what are you going to do with Suta" he says looking at the back of the car at the sleeping seven year-old "I know hes mature for his age and everything, but you guys might have to keep up appearances"
Kuro sat down beside him on the hood. "I'll probably put him in middle school, seeing he is so smart and looks like a seventh grader. He'll be just fine, we will have to dye his hair with mine but that is fine. He will complain about it at first but he'll grow use to it. He is smart enough to keep our secret, I trust him. We both have saved each other's lives." She had a soft smile across her lips and her eyes sparkled with pride and joy when she spoke of Suta. She truly loved him like a mother should and she took pride from having him around.
Taki watches Kuro smile when she looks at Suta the way a mother should "He's a real luck kid....pain in the ass, but a really luck kid to have a mom like you, something that neither of us had" Taki says lauging, they waited for a couple of minutes then the minutes turned into half hour when that happens Taki almost felt like there was something wrong.
Kuro blushed at what Taki said. "I really wouldn't call myself a mother. Yes, I love Suta a treat him like a son but I doubt he sees me as a mother. He will always be a handful, but I do hope one day he will be able to find his own path and a woman who will accept him for who and what he is." Her smiled slowly disappeared as the time stretched on without any sign of Taki's family. "Maybe we should go to one of their houses to check on them or call them from a payphone?" She suggested.
"Yea that sounds pretty good lets head to Haylee and Kaylees there not to far from here" Taki says heading to the drivers seat and sitting with Kuro at the passengers side, driving off Taki couldn't help, but feel like something was very wrong they would never forget about him. Taki turns into his sisters block only to be block by traffic, he looks a head to see a couple of fire trucks in the middle of the block putting out a fire in an apartment Taki knew all to well.
"Oh my god" he says running up the block to the crowd trying to see what was going on.

Kuro nodded and hopped in to the passenger side. She watched as the lights flew by as Taki drives. She spotted the fire just the same time as Taki did. She got out the car to keep up with Taki. "Takahashi!" She called as the crowd began to slow her down. After ten minutes or so,she caught up with him in front of the apartment complex. She could tell by the way he was acting, this was his sisters' complex. "Taki....?" She looked up at him with concerned eyes.
