As Taki crosses the bridge out of the city he looks at the rear view mirror of the last sight he will see of New York, he takes a deep breath and just keeps driving watching Kuro look out the window in silence. Driving for a couple of hours Taki looks in the back seat at Suta still holding his wrist "Suta you OK back there?, is your wrist feeling OK?"

Suta nodded. "Yes, I an fine. Its already healed." He removed the bandage to show that the blood was dried up now. Kuro looked back at him. "Let me see." She gently took his wrist and examined it carefully, pleased with the results. "Sorry, but it was the only way." She said to Suta he smiled at her and shook his head. "Don't be, there was no other choice." She smiled t him.

After driving for a little while longer Taki stops in front of a a motel "I'm going to get us some rooms" Taki says getting out of the car, he heads to clerk paying for two rooms then heading back to Kuro "Here I got your room next to mine just in case we have to make a quick escape". Taki grabs his bagwalks to his room opening his door "Goodnight Suta"" taki says "...You to Kuro" he says before closing his door.

Taki falls on his bed looking up at the ceiling with a annoyed look on his face "Not my fault I didn't do anything wrong I tired to help, but how do you help someone that doesn't want it"

Kuro nodded and watched as he went in with a sigh. "Hey, Kuro, what happened?" He asked, leaning over the console to look at her but she merely shook her head. "I told him it was best that he didn't come to help us but I dont know he took it. I guess he is dine with me, no surprise, a person can only with stand having me around for so long." She sighed but smiled at him. "Don't worry, I'll never leave your side as long you want me around." She looked up when she saw Taki come out of the motel. She got out of the car with Suta. She nodded and took the key from him. "Okay." She grabbed her's and Suta's bags and went to their room. "You too, Taki." She said as he went into his room. She went into her room and set their things down l. "You're going to need to sleep in your human from, alright?" Suta nodded.

Taki looks through the bag he took from behind the dumpster seeing everything was still where he left it, fresh clothes, twinkies, and his gun for when he can't use his powers. Zipping it up he saw something he missed his old gameboy that was in the facility with him, Taki smiles grabbing the games that the scientist let him play and looking through the wall he couldn't help think about Suta.

"Forget it" Taki sighs throwing the games on the bed and at the moment he gets a text from Haylee, he opens the text reading..

Go give the kid the games & go talk to her now taki

Taki rubs his head "I forgot how annoying there powers are" he says grabbing the games and leaving his room, stopping in front of the door he gets another text...

Knocking on he door it opens with Kuro in front of him "I thought Suta might like these, there a little out date, but still good"

Kuro was surprised when she found Taki at her door, she assumed that he didn't want anything ti do with them. "Uh. I'm sure he'll be happy with them. Thank you." Just before she could take the games and gameboy, Suta saw them and smiled, he loved games. He took them and turned it on. "Thank you, Taki!" He called as he began to figure out how to work it, of course, that wouldn't taken too long. She said and shook her head. "Oh goodness, it is too hard to teach that boy manners." She mumbled with a soft smile.

Taki saw as Suta almost figured out the game the moment he got it in his hand, but he had to remember why he was really here before he got another message "Do you mind if we talk out here while he's busy getting the hang of that" Taki says sitting on the car hood facing Kuros room "I just want to apologize for what I said i was really out of line you and Suta are pretty....you guys are just really nice to have around and I don't want to lose that"

Kuro nodded. "We'll be back in a moment, Suta." She said as he figured it out a started a game. She closed the door went outside with Taki, leaning against the wall in of the car. She listened to what he said, and once he finished, she looked up. "If you dont want to lose us, then why did you try to push us away when I only suggested that it probably would have been best that me and Suta not come? I never once said I didn't want you around. You know that I can be cruel and mean when I want to, but I do have a soft side that I dont like to show, but I value each of my friends like family, I be little my life, I find it less important than those who I care for. What I am saying is that you don't really need to worry about losing us unless you want us gone, that is why I suggested to remove your memories of us, so we would be completely gone from your life."

Taki knew he acted to rash back there and Kuro confirmed it for him "Yea your right I'm I spoke out of turn, but you have to admit that when you want to push someone away you can really push them away, I mean come on you really have to ask why I trust you and we've been running around together for almost a week now" Taki says hoping off the car and walking over to Kuro "I would do anything to help you guys just like I'm doing now so I have to ask you do you trust me or is it only me that trust the two of you?" he says looking deeply into Kuro eyes.

Kuro nodded. "I know. I guess you cwould say that it was just what I thought you wanted. I honestly believed that, at this point, you were ready to get rid of us." She said with a shrug. She looked back into his eyes and smiled at his question. "How could you ask a questionable? If I didn't trust you, I would have ran away at this point, and not let you come anywhere near Suta. You've seen my soft side and when I let my guard down. If I didn't trust you, I wouldn't be here now."

Taki smiles after hearing Kuro explain herself "So basically we have each others backs along with Suta and I really don't want him to erase my memories of you guys not even a little bit" he says feeling a huge weight left from his shoulders. "Since we're going to be together for awhile I want you to ditch the whole talking bad about yourself, let Suta do that for you and I'll stop him if he gets out of line" Taki says backing away towards Kuros room opening the door "I hope you like the gameboy Suta and tomorrow I'll teach you some cheat codes for it"

Taki steps out of the room smiling at Kuro as he walks towards his getting another text from Haylee...

We like her you should date her, we know you want to ask her out DO IT!!

Taki closes the text faster then he opened it

Kuro smiled at Taki and nodded. "I don't think that request can ever be made. I am who I am, no changing that." She said as she went inside the motel. When Taki spoke, Suta smiled at what he said. "Great! Can't wait man!" He said happily. Kuro heard Taki's phone chirp, letting him know he had a text. He closed his phone before she had a chance to read it. "Is everyone okay?" She asked, standing in the doorway of her room.

Taki turns around seeing Kuro in the doorway "....Well your going to find out anyway" Taki says walking over to Kuro "My sisters have this ability they can gained when they were kids, at first they were able to feel each others emotions since they're twins, but over time they learned how to feel me and my brothers emotions so its almost as if they can predict our movements before hand since we all feel before we do"

Taki inhales then exhales "So they know about you and....they know how I feel about you they've been pushing me to make a move" he says standing the doorway looking down at his feet "They like you, they texted me that"

Kuro listened to what he said, blushing at the part about his sisters pushing him to make a move but before she could say a word, a nosy little dragon boy came out of her room. "To be honest with you, as you already know, I can do the same thing with Kuro, and I was wondering the same thing for her." Kuro looked down at Suta, in shock that he had said that, but she looked down at the ground. "If she wasn't the type of person to clam up when it comes to these things, I wouldn't be the one saying all this. She rarely trustes people, so let alone teenager guys, so of course that was the first sign of something more that she was hiding. She is the person to not open her heart for fear that she would hurt them or they would leave her because of her animal side." He explained, looking up at Kuro's face, which was bright red.

Taki looks at Suta with a smile yet annoyed expression as he explained Kuros feelings out loud "Wow Suta I actually thought the game would keep you from jumping in at the wrong moments, but I was very wrong" he says looking up at Kuro then back don at Suta " Just keep playing the game while we talk please Thank you" Taki says lightly pushing Suta back in the room and closing the door behind him. Taki looks at Kuro still looking down at her feet "So was all that stuff Suta said was true, are you still afraid to let me in?"

Suta frowned and nodded. He went inside his and Kuro's room, but he still listened in. Kuro nodded. "Everything he said is true, and I'm not afraid to open my heart, I'm more worried that seeing my animal side would scare you away." She admitted, her voice quiet as she looked down at the floor. She remembered the horrible transformation of her body under going so much stress to turn over her sanity to the animal genes in her body and change her into a creature she didn't want to see. t sent a shiver down her spine at the memory.

"I don't understand" Taki says looking at Kuro "I mean you know what I am and you know what my family is hell you know what Suta is and you think I treat them any different them any different", leaning on the car Taki keeps his eyes on Kuro 'I don't care what you are or what you can do I still like you....and if some point I see something that you don't want me to see then and I freak out then you can have Suta set me on fire, but until then you gotta let me in at some point Kuro"

Kuro shook her head. "It's not that I won't open up, its just..." She took in a deep breath. "I worry too much, I guess. My animal genes fight to take control of my body and I worry that if they ever get the chance to do that again, they would scare away all who I care about. Suta is the only person who saw that side of me that didn't run away in fear." She gripped her hands behind her back. "I am not scared to let you inside, I'm afraid what you will see and how you will react to that."

"You don't think I haven't seen people like you, Outbreakers my family calls them, My brother Shift is once and he has almost no control over it" Taki says moving closer to Kuro "There are days that went by when I thought he would turn while we sat on the couch, but not once did I treat him any different because....I care about him just like he does me. Taki grabs Kuros hand "Do you understand?"

Kuro looked up at Taki and nodded. "Yes. I'm sorry, I didn't know what they were called and that your brother was one." She didn't know what else to say. She was happy to hear that he wouldn't treat her any different just because of her other side. She smiled up at him.
