Curiously, you take the poster. Some sort of….beast seems to be slain by a knight in shining armor, and the artwork is clearly that of a child’s. More information seems to be written on it, but the thing that stands out to you the most is the reward: 50,000 gold.
While baffled at the prize, you don’t notice a little girl approach you until she taps your arm. “Are you interested?” She asks, and you notice that she can’t be any older than 10. “This quest is best if you know magic, it’ll help us take down the beast easier.” The little girl continues, and you struggle to respond.
“Well, you took the flyer, and there hasn’t been a single interested person since we put it up. Whether or not you know magic, we can’t do this by ourselves.” The little girl says, taking your hand and dragging you over to the nearest table. Across from you, a little boy the same age as the girl is busy stuffing his face with pumpkin bread, and a giant snake is comfortably coiled on the seat next to him.
“I’ll make this as short as possible. A monster is lurking underneath the Earth’s surface; we don’t know how big it is, but we do know that four months from now, that monster is going to emerge from the Earth’s crust, and possibly wipe out all of life on this planet as we know it. We’ve been trying to set up a team to help defeat this monster, but so far, you’re the only interested one, so we’ll have to make do.” The girl explains, and you take a moment to process.
The boy from earlier just gives you an empathetic smile. “This’ll be a piece of cake, promise.”

This is a starter of a medieval fantasy RP, and if the above was a bit confusing, let me break it down for you:
Two children have dragged Y/C into a quest of saving the world, and if Y/C doesn’t know magic, they’ll just have to be taught by the children. The quest is simple: Find a way to destroy the monster underneath the Earth’s surface before four months pass.
This RP can go many different ways, I like to keep the plot a little more open-ended and flexible. Maybe the trio fails the quest, and utter doom is spelt for the world. Maybe the trio succeeds, and the world dons them as global heroes. Who knows?
The genre for this RP is mainly Fantasy/Adventure/Action. There will not be any romance incorporated into the plot, since the Twins are children. Romance is fine if it’s between Y/C and an NPC/side character.
I mainly made this RP to break in the new characters I made, so the plot isn’t too thought out or complex. That means that plot alterations or suggestions are highly encouraged, especially to make this more interesting for the both of us.

That's totally fine, as long as I have something to work with, you're good. Also I checked out all of your characters, and I'm really interested in both Aglaron and Liu Xian (apologies if I spelt them wrong), since I think they would make for a very interesting dynamic between the two children. Ooh this has got me interested. I haven't used her in a while but I think Sera here would be a good fit for this. If you dont think so then feel free to look through my other characters to see if another one might be a better fit in your opinion.
