Liliath started searching for Victi and after s while (including knocking guards out ) she had found her “I really did not mean to walk away, but I was trying to find you.” She said well nervously playing with her hair. “Can we talk?”

Ember growled, he would remain mostly silent as he went Into the next area. The wolf growled, he saw the turrets and quickly hopped to to cover , he was pinned down for a few moments.

Then, Ember did something suprising quite suprising....

Ember seemed to hop out, blindly running towards the turrets even as he was hit several times bu it. Kamura would violently swipe the turrets apart with his claws, before roaring loudly as the destroyed guns fell to the ground. Kamura had what seemed to be a few wounds, but they could have been anything. Ember looked around for any side rooms or exits.

Crap, that had actually damaged two of the guns themselves. She was going to get crap for that.

Also, he was actually a problem. That wasn't good at all. It was time to deploy actual containment measures.

A loud sound, roughly 30000 Hz and 100 dB filled the hallway. The specific pattern of sound was also highly irregular, meant to make even people who couldn't hear it very ill, often to the point of vomiting.

And then the tear-gas sprayers kicked in. If all of that didn't slow him down, she would have to deploy knockout gas.... or possibly chlorine if things got too serious. Most parts of the facility didn't have options quite that severe, but that was the advantage of working on a closed course.

"813," she said sternly, "Normally I'd be very upset at you for breaking into here, but I have a situation to deal with, and you were good today and listened. Please go to your room, and I will make sure to come and talk as soon as this is done."

"I really did not mean to hurt them i swear!" Liliath took a deep breath "Promise you don't get mad at me don't tell on me, please i don't want more trouble." "Come as soon as you can ok?" She said before running to her room.

Seo had noticed the child had run to her room all by herself and decided to have a look. She grabbed a pair of handcuffs and a blindfold. She stormed in the subject its room who just had sat down on her bed "831 what on earth did you think you were doing." "Nothing, just sitting." it awnserd shakily "You thought i hadn't seen it?" "Sorry." "Enough sorry's the whole weke you have been bad, i have read the files." Then before Liliath could do anything Seo handcuffed her and blindfolded her . "This will stay on for 2 days." "No!, i am sorry don't go!" But Seo had stormed off.

Naturally, the sound and Tear-Gas only made Kamura angry, although it did have slight weakening effect. He grew much more aggressive, getting down on all fours and quickly running in whatever direction he could find. The wolf held his breath, quickly running over to the first door he could see.

Kamura violently wedged his claws into the door, aggressively trying to pry the Maintenance Door open. Kamura was succumbing to the Systems, gradually losing consciousness.

Despite the suppression methods, the wolf managed to get the door partially open.... It was clearly getting bad, Kamura surely would have tried to kill victi if he managed to get free. For a Brute, Ember was out-of-control.

Hephaestus waited outside the door, a Tranquilizer mounted on his back in case Ember managed to breach.

Hephaestus was standing outside the door, waiting for Ember to come into View. Hephaestus could almost feel a spark of fear go through his CPU, not even he wanted to deal with 104.

[104 seems to be impressive, despite the obvious risk... Reprogramming would be easy however, he can't be totally stable... He's like an Armored Vehicle, he could easily be on a Battlefield." Hephaestus suggested, he waited outside the door and signaled for some Security Units to fortify the exit.

[There's no need to worry, I'll have that thing sedated and soon as be gets that door open.]

Victi had a horrific realization: If he back-tracked, Liliath would have left the entire route to her open and unguarded. she shuddered at the thought, and clutched her wrist before she inadvertently did anything stupid. She knew she was being watched, too.

Liliath decided to stand up and started kicking violently against the door "You wouldn't tell on me!"She screamed. Then she realized that Victi hadn't promised to not tell on her "Sorry!' She yelled back well she started sobbing on the ground.

[Understood, his Strength and Resilience will make him worth it..."] Hephaestus noted, stepping away from the door and moving away. He would get at a certain spot, ready to Tranquilize Kamura if he somehow tried to get through to her.

As soon as that message is sent, she straps a pair of goggles over her face and pulls out a canister. Stupidly bright light spilled from the seam of the lid. There was another test she wanted to do if things got ugly.

Having had enough with Victi, Ember had quickly attempted backtrack, desperately trying to find the source of the noise. After a while of running around, Kamura almost had sight of the Elevator, but would eventually succumb and lose consciousness. Hephaestus would have Tranquilized the wolf anyways. Ember slumped to the ground after a few moments, finally being knocked out.

Ah well, better to not have a hyperactive slime-mold as bright as a flash-bang lurking around, she supposed. That was fine, and she'd gotten plenty of data for him. Time to go talk to Liliath and get the next subject ready.

Was Victi coming or not? Liliath started getting worried if Victi would even come that evening, that weird lady had propbably said that Victi wasn't allowed to come.

Hephaestus sighed, he set his Compensation to 12 but tried to signal against it. Hephaestus would smile, he would have Ember taken back to his Containment Area. [Quite a close one there, I'll see what I can do about breaking the thing... ] Hephaestus said, the Corse was quickly reset and repaired, as Hephaestus exited the area.

[Any Containment measures I need to take?] Hephaestus questioned, setting Ember in the containment cell. Hephaestus got a few Syringes ready so that Enber could be drugged. Hephaestus was only going to have this done so that Ember would be less aggressive.

[His containment chamber seems safe enough. He was able to damage some things, but with how stupidly strong that resonant carbon latice is, he isn't getting out.]

She headed to Liliath's room, and punched in the code.

Huh, blindfolded and cuffed.

"You got caught on the way back here," Victi stated, "Not what I would have liked, but you did wander off on your own. You were instructed to go to door A12 and wait. What did you want to ask me about?"

"I am worried." She sobbed "I killed 2 people that is bad right?" "Also where does that animal come from? Is he from another world?"

Rose started to whimper as she looked around, trying to find someone or something, then she tried to get out of her cage.

Selene remained silent, surrounded by whimpers and sobbing. How newcomers reacted to confinement was a good indicator of their temperament. The kid acted like a brat who'd never been denied anything, thinking that screaming, disobeying the guards and acting weak would improve her situation. It would likely get her a bullet to the skull one day. The wolf-thing tried several futile attempts to escape and earned increased vigilance by the guards. She had tried to test her prison, been transferred, and stopped acting out. The fox-girl was attempting an escape like everyone else had.

Ooh this is good, something amusing... thought Selene, leaning back against her wall to get comfortable.

Living in solitary confinement for years with no human contact outside of machines, experiments and uncaring whitecoats had stunted her empathy for other lives. As far as she was concerned they were objects. The other experiments could be used to help her escape but if they died it was not worth loosing sleep over. If she outlived every single creature in this shithole she would not feel anything. They had served their purpose.

Yet... why had she warned the other subjects the night before? Why was she considering warning the fox-girl? Could it be that she expressed sympathy? No, that couldn't be it. Those traits had been eliminated years ago to improve her efficiency.

Concern? Fear for another person? No, that... that was ridiculous.

She glared at the fox-girl as if it had insulted her. She didn't want to be left with only her treacherous thoughts for company. She was bored and wanted some entertainment before she did something reckless. Do something interesting. Kill a few people.

Throughout the tests, and a while after, Fluro had remained in the camera room, checking over everything. The test itself, well... Overall, it had gone okay. There wasn't much trouble with either of the subjects, some issues probably, but she saw that most things had been sorted by now, and were somewhat under control. That was good? She guessed so.

After checking the cameras to check subject 831 (She noticed that after not being here long here, the fact of them being 'subjects' had always come to her easily) had been returned to their cell, she decided that she should return to patrolling. She headed off to leave, but a one of the cameras caught her eye. There was the same subject she swore she saw briefly about a minute ago, making some attempt to try and escape the cell. Seeing as no other guard had went over to the area, she thought she may as well be the one to sort things out.

Not like any successful escape would be possible anyway.

She left the room, and started to head towards the direction she guessed was where the hallway was. Paying close enough attention to small details in each area was annoying, but at least it was a way she could remember to get around the place easier. Eventually, she found her way, and the subjects' cell was in sight. She stopped at a distance, however. Second thoughts. About what? I don't... Stop. Things were getting to her head. She looked over at the cell, and watched the fox-like... Thing. She leaned against one of the nearest walls, and silently watched their attempt in interest, glancing around every so often. Why she didn't get out there and do something? She didn't really know.

She sat down as she started to tear up, “I don’t wanna be here” she cried to herself as her claws came out from her finger tips, then her eyes glee a bright bloody orange and she growled loudly at anyone that got near or too close to her.
