((Just a random, open drabble I wanted to write. Feel free to reply to it - or not. xD))
A fine row of tombstones lined the empty terrace, basking everything in a sea of gray. Deceased, rotting foliage peppered the ground in random clusters. Occasionally, a few transparent entities roamed about, meandering to and fro with no real purpose, nor intent. They were all simply there, just mindless spirits, drifting about their ways. It all seemed to be a blur really - there was no sense of time nor seconds ticking on by in this place. Here, in this realm, these entities were trapped on end with no means of escape. Occasionally, voices murmured into his ear, and the faintest sign of laughter drew his attention away from the surreal landscape, and down to earth once more. Well, it seemed to take him as far as earth got anyway.
The sad truth? Even though it seemed like there were presences nearby - spirits, whatever - there wasn't a single soul in vicinity other than him. And, he was entirely alone. It had been nearly months since he was trapped in Hell, and there was simply no other way of escaping it other than waiting for the opportune moment. Somehow, he'd managed to meander into the darker corners of Hell where there was no longer life, just strange apparitions.
"Boy, you've really done it this time, haven't you?" He said, blue hues peering up at the endless ceiling of darkness. There wasn't a single speck of light to be seen. "Wandered off into a place you shouldn't have."
How long would it be before he became one of these things that just drifted on endlessly? He was already talking to himself as was. In some ways, it seemed to keep the peace at bay. And in others, it seemed just the slightest bit unsettling. Somehow it seemed natural.

The song began to slowly burn in the back of her throat, so slowly she let it slip as around her the gray fog of the underworld formed. To many who heard her Banshee death song sounded like an ear-piercing scream but to those who were connected to the underworld, it was the most intoxicating and delightful song. She rather hated when she used it to travel to the underworld but this time she had some rather urgent business to finish with a rather nasty hellion. She normally chooses a remote spot to transfer in and out of the underworld so she was rather surprised to see a man standing in front of her. She slowly stopped her singing and stood her eyes fixed on the man wondering who he was and why he was here.
Amidst the shadows, the soft lull of a melody began. And it wasn't long before he sensed another entity materialize. The energy was subtle, but ever so present - and just there. Just what the Hell was it? It was then that the presence became ever that much more stronger - so much so that he soon felt the unsettling feeling of eyes drilling into the back of his head. Reacting on instinct, he turned around, and hues of blue finally met hers. Curiosity seemed to be a thing around her at the moment. For a second, he considered her too before he finally came to, blinking once. //Well I'll be damned, I never thought I'd meet another living soul out here.// Ironically he was thinking the same thoughts as she was. What was someone like her doing here of all places? He shrugged. "I realize I may not look like anybody else from around these parts. And whatever it is you're thinking, you're probably right that I don't belong here. You wouldn't happen to have a name, would you?"
His blue eyes were so disarming it took her a moment before she could breathe again. She thinks deeply as in this world a name holds meaning and can give someone power over you if you are not careful. However, She knew she must say something to appease the stranger " You can call me L for now". She sweeps her long golden hair behind her solder then slowly holds up her hand to wait for him to cross the distance and take it.
Noting that time seemed to freeze ever so subtly when their gazes locked unto one another, the corners of his lips twitched upward just a tad. She reacted? That was interesting. "That's actually really ironic - my name happens to be D. Nice to meet you." If she was only going to reveal a part of her name, he decided to play on her idea for now. Closing the distance between them, he went to pass her, only to dismiss her handshake and tapped her over the shoulder with the palm of his hand. "Formalities aside, L - is there any reason why you're here? I haven't seen a living soul like yours for a while."
She grabs his finger and turns with a sickeningly sweet smile “when you’re offered a hand you should take it” she drops the finger “I have a meeting with a Helion Tonight for an exchange of services” she slowly starts to circle the odd man taking him all of him for she is scared if she blinks he will be gone
It was funny how she was circling him like that - little known to her, he wouldn't be going anywhere in a while so long as he was stuck here. But, it wasn't like he intended on telling her anyhow. His hues followed her movements before he folded his arms across his chest. "Hellion? What sort of Hellion?" Clearly it wasn't any of his business to meddle, but it somewhat piqued his curiosity. "If you were human I'd tell you to watch any deals you make with the devil. But since you aren't.... I guess there isn't anything to worry about."
her eyes start to swirl rapidly showing changing emotions. Finally, she walks toward him and runs a hand up and down his arm, she can fill his strong muscles under his shirt. "I guess you aren't human yourself or you're unable to cross, but this soon to be my home in the underworld so you should get moving" her grip tightens on his arm "I don't want to have to sing for you"
Feeling her grip on his arm, he began to wonder if she was bipolar in some way. Her eyes were doing some crazy shit and he could feel her hand running down along the length of his arm. "Heh, right." When her grip went to snatch his arm, he grabbed her wrist in playful opposition. "Funny you'd say that, I don't have anywhere else to go but here - and I don't intend on dying anytime soon. On the other hand, you seem to be in a hurry, so I think you should get moving. Unless you need my help."
A sharp smile crosses her face as his hand grabs her wrist. she takes a step closer so he can feel her breath on his neck. “This is my home, so if you stay you’ll work for me.” With a twist she frees her arm. She turns on her heel and walks out on the porch to see the walls of the home surrounded by low level underworld creatures. “Great I missed my chance” her eyes swirl even More rapidly.
