Datin crashed the through the forest narrowly missing trees. He had multiple wounds that were causing him to get weaker and weaker by the second. \"Just a little bit farther, a little bit.\" He kept telling himself. Then he tripped and fell. He tried to get up again but a searing pain in his ankle told him it was broken. \"Someone . Help me.\" Datin let out in a pained whisper.

Scarlett easily picked the young boy up and ran towards what appeared to be a solid wall. She ran into the vines that made it seem solid and put the boy down on the other side. "You must remain quiet." She hissed as shadows danced across the vines and angry voices could be heard on the other side.

Ryan jumps down Ryan is a friend of scarlet's they need to hold the people off before they get to him.

Datin remained quiet. Wondering why this lady had helped him and where she had come from. Datin listened to the shouts on the other side of the men that had been chasing him.
"He couldn't of gotten that far he was wounded!" One shouted.
Another man who sound more suspious said, "Maybe it was magic. I heard they can use some from the old stories."
"He's only a halfling he couldn't use even if they could! Now find him!" Yelled the first man.

Scarlett laughs silently to herself before picking up he boy again and heading towards the end of the enclosure. She moved more vines at the end and came to a tree house village situated in front of a beautiful waterfall. "Welcome to our camp young halfling." Scarlett said as she put the boy down. "My name is Scarlett, and this..." She pointed to Ryan. "Is my Second in Command Ryan." She finished. Scarlett waved over some medics to help the boy.

Ryan said to Scarlett" What do we do with him do we train him kill him make him one of us what do we do?"

Scarlett slapped Ryan on the back of the head hard. "What did we do with you when we found your sorry little butt in the same situation?" She asked matter-o-factly, hands on her hips.

Datin looked over to those two with frightened eyes. His fate lied in these two hands. He couldn't hear what they were saying but the lady vampire had just hit the other. Not a good sign. He knew vampires usually didn't take kindly to half bloods from personal experience, and he had the scars to prove it. Though these vampires saved him........might be good to be on his guard just in case.

"Then how are we going to teach him the ways of the vampire hes a mortal....duh?" Ryan said

Scarlett rolled her eyes in annoyance. She picked up both the boys hands and looked closely at the fingertips. "Not a mortal, a halfling." She explained. "He can be taught the vampire ways and when he comes of age, he can be turned into a full vampire." Scarlett finished, letting the boys hands drop back in his lap.

"All i know is im not biting him" Ryan said disgustingly

Scarlett rolled her eyes and playfully pushed Ryan. "Get some food for the boy." she said turning back towards the boy. "You narrowly missed being captured there. May I ask why those hunters were chasing you?" she said sitting on the wooden floor.

Datin looked up towards the girl. " Someone noticed my fangs when I stopped by to eat some food in a inn. Rumors spread, and someone blamed me for the death of a girl in the town cause there was fang marks. She actually got attacked by a lone wolf it seems, judging by the marks."

"what lone wolf" Ryan said

Datin looked at the boy in confusion. " A lone wolf. I don't know. I was just making a guess depending on the bite marks that were reported in town." He said .

"A lone wolf is a wolf who travels by him or herself, or a rouge vampire." Scarlett said handing the boy a piece of raw meat. "I'm Scarlett." she said hoping to avoid further confusion.

"Hes not full vampire we have to feed him the food his people eat"

Datin glanced up at the boy with a small, not too menacing, scowl. "I can have raw meat , I'm still part vampire.I grew up eating food like this." Datin said grabbing the meat from Scarlet. "Thank you Ms.Scarlet."

"Ryan, stop being rude." Scarlet said calmly before turning back to Datin. "How old are you?" she asked politely, gesturing over the man with the food so she could eat something too.
