Jackie didn't object, quickly dragging herself onto Blake's back before they headed to Atlas. "Can you teleport now?" Jackie questioned weakly. The shades continued, quickly approaching.

Atlas looks at Jackie concerned.
"We can but here's the closest we can be." He says extending his hand as Blake jogs towards Atlas extending his hand out. With a final thrust forward Blake's hand touches Atlas and the trio are gone. Losing his footing Blake falls forward with Jackie on his back. Looking up they're back in Atlas's facility.

Jackie let out a relieved sigh, returning to her normal form. "Thank god." She stammered. She tried t oget up, but flinched, before griping her side. "Shit!" She hissed.

Blake felt Jackie's full weight on his back as his own form faded and he was left with his base form. Three of the small drones flew over to Jackie as Atlas helped her up.
"What happened here? This damage is more than I would have thought." He says looking at her injury.

"I ran out of ammo and-NNG!-one of them got me in the side." Jackie said. She had a few other wounds from the attacks, but the wound on her side was easily the worst. Just moving made searing pain shoot through her side.

Taking a brief look at the wounds Atlas snaps his fingers and two drones come up.
"Atlas, greetings, it seems the rescue went. Oh my." One says as it looks to Jackie.
"She's wounded. Get her to medical and patch her up. The wounds aren't too deep so should only require a small amount of work." One drone lowers and lets Jackie rest on it. The other scans her side.
"Light tissue damage, slight cuts on muscles but easily repairable." It continues to scan as Jackie is escorted.

thanks to the wound, Jackie staggers slightly as she was lead to the medical wing. She kept her hand at her side, wincing with every step she took.

Jackie is escorted to a door that swishes open. Inside was a medical bay that looked similar to a hospital but oddly smoother and more futuristic. A table came out of the wall, there were shelves with smooth cupboards and a sink. A small stool is moved to the side of the table and Jackie is put onto it. One drone flies over the side and it scans with a green light.
"This will hurt for a moment. Stay still please." It says as a laser shoots out and smaller green beams shoot around the wound. It flickers as Jackie's wounds are resealed as the second drone comes over with a small swab and some stitches in tiny pincers as they clean and seal up the relatively small wounds before a bandage is placed over it several minutes later once done.

Jackie yelped when the laser hit, her grip on the bed tightening as she tensed up. She sighed once the laser stopped. A few minutes, and several pained yelps from the stitches, later Jackie had been treated. She was led back to the others, still griping her side and having some trouble moving her torso. "Can we go home now?" Jackie asked.

The wound felt a bit tender but after a couple minutes there was no pain. No blood or any residue either. It was a clean repair and Jackie would feel as if she hadn't been hurt at all. The drones lead Jackie out to the command deck where Atlas and Blake stood.
"Jackie, you're better?" Blake asks as Atlas looks at a terminal.

"I think so yeah." Jackie said, rubbing her side. Even after the pain subsided, it was still tender. She sighed. To put it plainly, she was exhausted. Today had been far crazier than she wanted it to be. She didn't want to come back to this weird empty world, again. She didn't want to go break a friend out of a prison. And she definitely didn't want to get shot at, multiple times, before being swarmed by freaky shadow people. At this point she just wanted to go home and go to bed and pretend this whole thing was a dream.

Turns out suddenly being dragged into some weird super hero or anime stuff wasn't actually as fun as cartoons made it out to be.

Atlas turns to the two.
"Glad you're patched up." Atlas says approaching. "I suppose I owe you both an explanation."
"Of what?" Blake asks confused.
"Regarding what just happened. With Jefferies reflection and that prison." He brings up several charts and readings onto the large, main screen that took up most of the main wall. "We noticed him getting unusually strong and when that prison appeared it amplified. As you know most reflections here are borderline passive and uneventful. Though he was more interactive and personified. Plus he was able to block my teleportation which is another concerning phenomenon."

Jackie glanced at the charts and screens with a tired expression. "Ok." She said, not really sure what else to add. She honestly didn't care. She just wanted to go home. She couldn't give less of a crap about this alternate Jefferies, or his freaky prison. Considering this was all going on this weird mirror world, it wouldn't impact her world.

"The concerning thing here that impacts you two is that he was aware of you." Atlas pauses. "That shouldn't happen. Much less he shouldn't be able to interact with such force like that. The shades presence alone is enough to cause concern. But with reflections having such a presence and you both slipping back here. Stay together. Stay in contact and be aware." He says with a tone of concern. Blake looks on concerned. He then nods.
"Right."
"Now I've been looking into getting you two back again."

"Dude, I know Jefferies in real life. Why's it special that he knows about us here?" Jackie questioned, before pausing when Atlas mentioned getting them home. "Ok, nevermind. Forget the question, please just get us out of here." Jackie said.

"We're looking for another breach we can access. This isn't as easy it teleporting here." Atlas then brings down the screen, returning it to it's normal displays. "But think about it, do the other reflections notice you? Or gain such sentience? Those that do become Watchers like us. But he wasn't. He was mid way or something else." Atlas explains with a more stern tone.

"So?" Jackie asked. "How do you know he's not turning into a watcher or something?" She questioned.

"The Officers. They shouldn't be possible. They shouldn't be sentient like they are. He himself he may be. But them. Plus the prison mutating with him. That's not natural for when a Watcher forms."

"So?" Jackie asked. "Maybe he's a new kind of watcher?" Jackie offered.

"I have my doubts. He shows signs of being one however he lacks the broader thinking. He's more of a amplified aspect. Closer to a disease in regards to Watchers." Atlas looks concerned. He didn't know what Jefferies was specifically and that troubled him. The interference of the shades further added to his concerns. Blake looked over to Jackie.
"We should also take note of what he says. Jerfferies did seem to think we were watchers but worded them like they were against him and the bad guys." Blake says drawing Atlas's gaze.
"He referred to Watchers as separate to himself?"
"He seemed to. He thought we were criminals or something. He was very set in the rules and wouldn't flinch from them."
"As I had observed." Atlas says having confirmed some of his theories. "Blake tell everything that happened to you to this drone." He says as one of the small drones flies over.
"Come with me." It says flying over to a terminal and using a laser interacts with it as a small microphone on a stalk emerges from the side. Blake wanders over and tells it all he remembers and saw.
