Hey! I'm looking for Fantasy Writers who are willing to also do Realism! (No dice rolls) This is set in a world where a plague has set back the progress of their development and their inner hierarchy and customs are alien and strange. Magic is also punishable by Death if caught by the guard that patrol the land heavily.
Looking for any race, any gender, any sexuality. Specifically looking for studious characters that are enchanted by discoveries, learning, knowledge, adventure, or exploring. The more curious the character the better. I'd like a fast paced Roleplay so short replies are fine with me! 2-3 detailed sentences is my preference though. Looking for someone with a lot of free time like myself and can give fast replies. (1-3 days at most) Hoping to make Ester a more well rounded character and develop her as the story goes on. The roleplay will take place here on the forums, and will be 1x1.
I'm very patient, but I do not like waiting 2-4 weeks, I used to do Novella and the wait for replies felt terrible.. I personally comfortably reply with 2-4 paragraphs when describing action scenes, introducing characters, describing setting, etc. It really depends on how many characters I'm using, what's going on, and whether or not it's banter.
Your character will arrive in some odd way or another in a place that has never seen visitors and is untouched from outsiders. Being a fish out of water you'll encounter My character Ester in an odd series of events that may or may not lead to trouble, adventure, or combat!
Poor living conditions, a vaguely similar form of simplified English, illiteracy, and huge plot driven surprises. I want to develop my character Ester through a long term roleplay in this new land I've created that is challenging and always changing as the story goes on. This world is loosely based on the Survival Game: ARK and will contain monsters, hazardous landscape, grotesque scenes, and violence.
* Sexism
Watch out Females! Oh yes, sweet sweet Sexism. Who doesn't love a bit of that?
* Lack of Resources
Your character will most likely have a tough time getting food or a warm spot to sleep!
Be prepared to really grind for resources while hiding from the local guard - and scavengers!
* Light Gore, Realistic Fights, and Survival Writing!
I value realism and this place is a challenge! No dice rolls needed.
* Magic is Banned!

We have it all, bad economy, poor hygiene, and most importantly... Terrible living conditions!
So, what brings you here? Magic portal? Fell from the sky? Washed up ashore?
No one leaves Gallius, No one visits Gallius.
At one time humans were the only inhabitants of this land, the only settlements being small villages consisting of large families and guilds who had come together to survive against the hazardous nature around them. Whoever had colonized the first major city... had doomed their generation. In a tightly packed valley the first city sat until it collapsed in on it's self - after rebuilding in the new pit of wildlife the city clings to any surface of the valley - including the walls. The inner city is almost entirely devoid of sunlight while the remaining above surface land being used as rural farm space. The shores around the two mountains are patrolled heavily to ensure no one leaves the inner city - where any spare hands are filled.
Two mountains fill the space beside each side of the valley, their high peaks too high to climb and too cold to live on. A land bridge connects it to a much larger land mass.. But the bridge is only accessible at certain points of the day where the tide is lowest. While their enviorment can be lush and fertile in the small patches of green where the sun washes over the edges of the caved in valley... The inner workings of this isolated society is on the grotesque side.
After a massive plague that nearly wiped out the entire population due to how densely kept the populace was kept in, crossbreeding saved them... but caused a strange divide in the working class. It is unknown if any full humans actually exist among the populace... The biggest mystery of the strange land is their ban on anything they deem magic and their inner inhumane hierarchy. Despite the population being on the small side their living conditions are absolutely horrible.
So, ready to dive in? What should you be prepared for?

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
