After receiving strange signals from some distant planet, the Dawn Space Corps had sent Major Captain Steven Marshall to investigate them, many of the researchers thoroughly believed had come from an advanced civilization and they were excited to see if it were so. Considering Captain Marshall had plenty of experience in this type of work, seeing as he's been responsible for establishing peaceful relations with one alien race so far, and who's to say something like that won't happen again? After making the proper preparations, Captain Steven and the U.S.S Kalispell had set and after a few months, they arrived in orbit of the new planet...
From here, a few possibilities could happen:
Emergency Landing: Though the U.S.S Kalispell is perhaps one of the most advanced divisional ships within the Fleet, even it's vulnerable to accidents. Due to a failure with the ship's thrusters, they were forced to land on the nearest planet in order to repair them, of course, when a massive ship suddenly lands on a planet with a potentially advanced society, someone is bound to investigate. So not only did they have to worry about trying to repair the ship with the materials aboard the Kalispell, but they also had to worry about potential resistance towards the Captain and his allies, or maybe these natives would be willing to create peaceful relations with the DSC... only time will tell.
A Blast to the Past: Similar to the other scenario, somewhere in the Kalispell's journey, they had found themselves passing through a warp in time, sending them millions of years into the past and for whatever reason, the warp had sent them directly to Earth (time period is adjustable, I'd prefer it to be between the present day or early Colonial America/Europe) and in order to confirm this, they land on one of the many landmasses, but like one would expect they would immediately met with the natives who were either resistant to them being there or those who wished to study them, but whatever their reasoning was, they were met with the natives of the planet. What'll happen from here?
I'm more than happy to play with other scenarios.
Okay, essentially what I'm looking for is for Captain Marshall and his crew to land on some distant planet, whether it's Earth or some other world is totally up for discussion. Though I'm up for some more hostile responses to first meeting the DSC, I'd rather it not be a violent meeting. A little drama is fine, but I'm mostly looking for a lighthearted story. I'd absolutely love for a romance (MxF) to develop between the Captain and your character, but it isn't a requirement. How they interact is completely up for discussion. If this interests you, please PM me with your desired scenario. Please don't comment here, I won't respond to the forums. I don't have too many requirements for RP, all I'm asking for is at least a single paragraph per post, I don't need novels or gobs of text, just something to work with, and I'd like to ask for patience when playing with me. I could respond immediately or it might be centuries before I respond. Though, I'm looking for a 1x1 RP, I'm open to doing a small group RP as well. If you're alright with that, feel free to hit me up!
