So, I have really bad anxiety. I thought after I graduated, I would be less stressed all the time because I don’t have to worry about grades for a little while at least till I go to collage. BOY WAS I WRONG. It only got worse, now I can’t sleep because I’m stressed out. It used to be eh every few nights I couldn’t sleep. Now it’s EVRY. SINGLE. NIGHT. The thing is, I have no idea what I’m stressed out about! Maybe it’s not stress I’m feeling. Idk it just feels extremely similar to how I felt when I was having anxiety attacks. Some really uneasy feeling.
Idek what do you guys think? Any advice on anything. I know meditating can help sometimes but, I’m not exactly a person that... well stays focused, so I’m not sure how well that would work.
I know the wording and layout of this post is a bit weird, so sorry about that.

It might not be very helpful considering Im not an adult nor have I graduated. But I think maybe that what you're feeling is underlying anxiety or worry for the future. I know I tend to stress about when I'm an adult and getting a job and living on my own, and I'm only 14.
I'd suggest trying to distract yourself, or maybe just talking to ano older adult about it.

Something to consider, especially since it's gotten worse since graduating: you might need to start going out to do things more. I realize that might feel like the last thing you want to do, but it can be incredibly important.
I always wish I got more time off work. I'll fantasize about having all the free time I want to do whatever I want. However, I have learned that I need to have some sort of obligation that involves interacting with other people to help maintain my mental health. Some days, the idea of going to work is awful - but once I actually get free and go through the day, I end up feeling a lot better, just because I have something to focus on and am around people (humans are social creatures, after all, and even introverts need company now and then).
If you're catching up on that missing sleep other parts of the day, that's probably contributing to the problem. Your circadian rhythm may be way out of whack. For those with insomnia and other sleep problems, doctors actually suggest avoiding naps or day sleeping to try to force the body back into night sleeping. They also encourage keeping as strict a schedule as possible to really focus the body into it.
If you have the resources, I'd recommend talking to a mental health professional and probably a sleep doctor, too. A good starting point is just talking to your regular doctor about it.

I know a lot of unstructured time can sometimes be difficult for me, but it's because I get down. Also change in general can be anxiety-producing. I would say maybe having a daily routine that involves going somewhere every day at a regular time might help. For sleep the only thing I can suggest is maybe white noise in the background (like radio or TV set low). Some people say melatonin helps but I haven't really tried it...but that's an idea. And I've heard valerian root helps, haven't tried it but just another idea. *hugs* I hope you feel better.
Yeah, it just seems to me that you have no idea what to do with your time and that's throwing you off. I even get anxiety thinking about what I'm going to do with my life, when I'm going to be a sophomore in highschool this year.
Thank you all for advice and such!
Yeah I sleep better with sound for sure! I can’t sleep period without sound.
As for me getting out more, that very may well be the problem, considering I usually spend my day in my room away from everyone. (I do go play DND with some friends sometimes, but we do that like once a month)
Also I have no idea what I’m gonna do with my life so really all of these can be factors
