Sector 87-B is a containment facility located in the middle of nowhere. It is owned by the government and maintained by the military. Sector 87-B's job is to capture and contain non-human specimens and preserve them for proper examination. The specimens shall follow a strict time schedule and not be allowed to speak to the guards unless one is willing to speak and it's free-time, a time where interaction and communication are accepted. Sector 87-B is well protected with armed guards and traps that go ff during an alarm. Sector 87-B needs its guards (Military background preferred) scientist and specimens

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?
Far future, perhaps interstellar travel (faster than light)
Distant war may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat will likely be summarized, not played out in detail.

I'm down to party in this rp! I have Jules who is non human and very powerful. Ummmm maybe Revy since she has a power if we are doing specimen. If I'm being someone else, I'd recommend Alyson as a scientist.
