So yeah, I feel like the pin gives something for us to build on. YC will be kidnapping Talyn because she's being difficult. I imagine your character to be a high-ranked member in a gang, who was supposed to get information out of Talyn, but failed and kidnapped her. The leader of the gang is kinda mad at YC because now if YC returns Talyn she'll go to the cops.
The catch is that YC will eventually fall in love with her, despite her stubbornness, because he is tasked with taking care of her and making sure she doesn't get hurt. They soon realize that she's in danger from something/someone, and YC has to protect her. She is not equipped to do much for herself, and doesn't know a thing about fighting people off.
If anyone's interested, I really wanna do this.
