I mean, the waveforms are approximately phase shifted in multiple dimensions by λ/2, and then usually with some different wave structures as well, but the energies can be made to harmonize or smoothly cancel pretty easily.

Neo, Satan was once an angel and yet hes the ruler of Hell. I dont find it impossible. Besides, it's not unheard of.

I was speaking a little more generally, in that for any "Infernal" type domain the inhabitants are that way, essentially the same energies as "Celestial" denizens, but modulated and harnessed differently, but your example is more clear-cut than most.
