Quetzalli went to the front of her cell and she looked around for anyone, humming softly

"this inspection is taking a while"

‘Alright, out.’ He pushes the beast tamer out with telekinesis.

"i am hungwy"

“It is taking forever...” Quetzalli sighed, “I want to see one of those ‘books’ I heard of.....”

"why you use airquotes?"

“Well I was blind before coming here, and I’ve never seen a book, nor did we have books where I was living.” Quetzalli explained

"that does not explain the air quotes, a book is a book, air quotes are qhen something is questionable, i think"

((I meant it more as she was saying it like she didn’t know if it existed or not and not air quotes but I’m rolling with it now lol))

Quetzalli sighed “Well isn’t a book short for something?”

"no, another word for a book is a novel, or a guide if it is informative about doing something, there are a couple more names for a book, but book is not short for anything, a book is something you read"

Quetzalli nodded, “Oh.... s-so kind of like another version of a scroll?” She asked curiously

"yes, but you only need one book, you might need multiple scrolls for the same knowledge a book gives"

“I hope I get to read some.” Quetzalli smiled, “M-Maybe on medicine, or nature.”

"as long as lizardia does not come out and notice that you should be fine"

Quetzalli nodded, “Who’s Lizardia, if you don’t mind me asking?”

"oh, ever heard of multiple personalities?"

She nodded, “Yes, I-I’ve heard of that. Is she a personality?”

"yes except an advanced version of one, she makes me taller, changes my eye color to white, and she is extremely smart, but all she wants to do is experiment on people and study them"

Quetzalli nodded “I-I see..... it sounds interesting, kind of annoying to handle though.”

"i am good at controling her, except as of recently she has been getting out more easily"
