Kesoru thought for a moment, "Not really, and I don't feel comfortable telling you why quite yet."
Ember nodded, understanding. "We all jave our secrets. So you have A lunch? I have it too." She said, changing the subject. "I'll be at the far corner of the cafeteria, just so you know."
Kesoru nodded and said bye, then went to gym so he could change and not be late.
Ember slung her bag over her shoulder and headed towards chemistry. She said hi to her teacher and sat down at her seat, pulling out her books she needed for the class, even though they were about to go to lunch. She sat down for a minute and wondered how Kesoru was doing in his gym class.
In P.E. they were doing dodge ball which was an all to easy game for Kesoru, even though he had to put his shields down. He could easily dodged them but, not wanting to stick out more than his good looks made him, he occasionally got himself hit.
Chemistry started with notes, then they got the rest of the class off, since they finished early. Ember smiled and went up to the teacher, asking if she could go to the gym until the bell rang. The teacher agreed, and Ember packed up her stuff and headed for the gym. When she got there. she saw that they were playing dodge ball, so she sat down on the bleachers and watched. She spotted Kesoru, but didn't do anything.
Kesoru saw ember, but he had to participate as it was a part of class. When the game was over, and every one went to change, he went and sat next to her after grabbing his things.
Ember smiled at him when he sat down. "Hey." She greeted him and offered him a water bottle.
Accepting the water he took a sip then offered it back. He didn't look to tired, or sweaty in fact. "What are you doing here?"
Ember took the water back and set it down beside her. "Well, we got finished early in class so I asked my teacher if I could come to the gym."
"And he let you leave class? Huh, that's new." he would stand and walk to the cafe with ember when the bell rang.
"Well, he likes me since I'm one of his best students. "Ember said proudly.
On the way down to lunch it was the same thing, people seemed to give the both of them a little more room, "You know what is being served today?"
"No. I really don't eat school lunches. I bring my own." She showed him her lunch sack as proof.
he nodded, "Alright, I'll go stand in line then. Save me a seat."
Ember nodded and went to a clear table in the back of the room, seeing that they were one of the first ones there.
It took him about ten minutes but he eventually sat down next to her. For his lunch he had gotten a slice of pizza.
By the time he got there, Ember was already eating a bag of chips and reading her book. Noticing that he had gotten his food she tore her eyes away from the book and smiled at him. "Long line, huh?"
"Yeah. They broke it into 4 pieces in one block but there are still a ton of kids in the cafe," Kesoru took a bite of his pizza.
Ember laughed a bit. "Now you see why I bring my lunch." she said then held out the bag of chips to offer him one.
