When Ember got out side the school there was a student that came running around a corner looking a little frightened. A moment later Kesoru walked around the same corner plucking a black feather off of the shoulder of his shirt. Upon seeing Ember he would pocket the feather and jog up to her saying, "Hey."
Ember scratched the back of her head confused. "What was that all about?" She asked when she saw Kesoru come around the corner after the boy.
"Nothing really, he just tried to 'intimidate' me... and failed," he said hiding a smile very easily. "How was your day?"
"Boring." Ember answered. She looked where the scared boy had disappeared to, then back at Kesoru. "So... Your house?"
"Yeah, we can walk if you want." He turned to face the bus's, "Most of the bus's seem to crowded,"
"That's fine with me. Lead the way." She said with a smile.
Kesoru started leading the way to his house. He lived nearly out of town, but it was only a mile away from the school. As they got closer to his house Ember would notice the houses a little more spaced out.
Ember watched the houses that went by with interest. She had never been to this area, so she was depending on Kesoru to lead her. "So where is your house anyway?" She asked, half of her attention on him and the other on the passing houses.
He would occasionally check street signs making sure they stayed on the correct path, "about a mile from the school, down this road."
"So not too far. At least, not as far as I live." Her eyes jumped from house to house as she spoke.
"How far do you live?" he asked curious.
"About three miles." She said, adjusting her beanie.
"I have a question for you," he paused to wait for approval.
"Okay, shoot." She said, this time turning her gaze back to him, interested and curious.
"How is it that you can wear that jacket and not be hot?"
"Well..." Ember started, but she didn't have an answer. Truth be told, she was boiling in the jacket, but it was the only thing that was keeping her tail hidden. "Just a skill, I guess." She lied, suddenly feeling guilty for lying to him.
"Alright, just curious. Here's my house," He pointed but the only thing you could see was the wall around it, which was built to keep unwanted eyes away.
Ember eyed the wall cautiously. "Okay..." She said, curious as to why they would block it off/
((Private property))
Kesoru walked up to the gate and unlocked it using a key, before he opened the gate though he used an intercom to tell every one he had brought company.

((Ah, I see,))
Ember waited for Kesoru to go into the gate before she did. "Do you have a big family?" she asked, imagining a bit house behind the gates.
