I'm back at it again with alternating wildly around the -punk genres with my current focuses, as detailed by my recent roleplay post, really just being Atompunk made to look more Decopunk than anything but forced into some weird Cattlepunk box. But, the idea of my original outlinings for the technology in it, like the Sentinel dog droids, came from a dieselpunk roleplay that ended with Zucc getting in the way. Really, I just love dusty sci-fi

But, like, what are y'all's favorite Sci-fi -punk genres?? Specifically to write in, but whatever you just think is nice. What are your reasons for enjoying it?? I'm really just big into aesthetics if I'm honest and thats just about my only reason for liking these more stylized forms of sci-fi, as opposed to just modern or more futuristic sci-fi. Again, I really like dusty sci-fi.

I personally enjoy steampunk, cyberpunk and biopunk. Mostly for the feel and aesthetics, but cyberpunk is badass and biopunk is great as a horror genre. My absolute love though is mythpunk. Idk why but magic and magical creatures in a modern/futuristic setting make me happy.

I've actually just learned about Mythpunk!! Sadly the site it was on didn't seem too appreciative of it,,, but it sounds really cool!!
I also was really big on biopunk for a bit but that hasn't gone as far as my interests in this weird DecoCattleAtompunk i've got going on
