"Okay, not what I wanted... If he attacks me, Kuro, I will have no choice but to Kill him..." Ascrith realized that this was a more powerful Daemon Prince, undoubtedly one of the Independent kind. But he was ready for this. His mind stopped assaulting the barrier, and began its preparation. He drew his Sword, shield, and weaponry, and blessed them.
"I am a Space Marine... And I shall know no fear."
"I am a Space Marine... And I shall know no fear."
"You say you shall know no fear, but secretly everybody has fears." Damian said as he took out his silver dagger again. "You will not kill me today or this month, you are here to save the innocent people sitting in that ship waiting to be rescued. Lets save this battle for another day." Damian said throwing his dagger at the floor, gettin it stuck up to the hilt.
Ascrith looked at Damian with a mixture of hate, curiosity, anger, and empathy. He didn't know whether to laugh at the silver dagger, or not. But he knew that the Daemon was right. He had to find a way off this place. The Gunship managed to make it's way to the Temple, land, and disembark everyone. Ascrith knew of an old hiding place, and it should be satisfactory.
"In here, is the most secure place for all the non fighters to go," Ascrith said, lifting up a tile. A stairway going to the bottom of a bunker was built by Zeus over 100,000 years ago. Ascrith found Zeus in that place, and killed him there, which should prove interesting for everyone to see. Ascrith, however, was preoccupied with the defense of the temple.
As soon as the passengers disembarked, the Soldiers began pushing large pieces of stone, metal, and rubble to make cover, and places to shoot from. They began rebuilding the large weaponry that was inside the Gunship, assembling Autocannons, Heavy Bolters, Lascannons, and Plasma weapons to fend off this amazing threat. Ascrith stood at the front of the newly made fortress, staring at the ships. They were close.
He kind of felt bad for Damian, for the agony he felt from Ascrith's Psychic attack. It was wrong, and he should've asked otherwise. He kept thinking about how it could've gone. Why must he be engineered to be so brutal? Why was he engineered to be so violent? So hateful at times? He wished that Damian would talk just so he could apologize.
But could he? Was he that deadly? The Daemon Prince could be deadly, but The Lord was what Ascrith was after. Damian, fortunately, was not on his list of things to kill. He would kill him as soon as he became a woman, and that isn't happening.
"Kuro, come look at this," Ascrith said, pointing to the sky. It was full of ships now, waiting, just waiting for the perfect moment. He stared at Kuro, and back at the ships. What are they doing?, He thought, scratching his head. What are they waiting for? A Swarmlord?

Damian looked up at the dark sky full of ships and clapped his hands together again summoning his sword. "What re they waiting for?" He asked curiously, wiping some dust off his sword. This was the first time he has had to use it since he discovered he was a prince. A sudden gust of wind swept throug the temple as Damian got an idea how to help a little. "What weather do the Tyranid's fight most poorly in?" He asked turning towards Ascrith the first time since they were about to kill each other.
Kuro examined the ships, looking for their weak spots with her red eye. She could see a layout of the ships and she saw every single weak point. "Well, according to way it is built, it seems that they wouldn't be able to fight in the rain or snow because it would seep through the cracks and into the ship, destroying the electronics in it." She answered Damian. It was strange how people forgot that her red eye can spot weakness on anything or anyone. She looked back over at Damian.
Damian smiled and clapped his hands together. "Let it rain then!" He yelled into the open night as storm clouds rolled in and made the sky even blacker. "Don't wet our soldiers." He whispered as a slight glimmering could be seen around each soldier now as rain poured down onto the deserted streets below, flossing gutters and streets. Damian closed his eyes and leaned against a marble pole nearby. "Got any food or painkillers?" He asked holding his head. "This takes allot out of me bein so young." He added.
Kuro shook her head. "No, sorry. I wasn't expecting you to disobey again, I left all my painkillers with Suta." She said with a sigh. She looked up at the raining sky, watching the ships beginning to start to either shut down or explode from the water.

Ascrith shook his head. He got his gun ready. And ordered the guns to point towards the sky. It was turning into hell. Spores, huge biological objects shot out from the bays of the biological ships, carrying giant loads of Genestealers, Carnifexes, or worse. The 31mm guns open fired, spraying shells all over the sky.
"Rain won't stop the ships. They are biological. They are literally living, intelligent beings. Snow won't stop them, they will adapt. Try anything you want. I have seen them decimate whole worlds in days, and spawn more. You just got unlucky enough to serve as a launching point for another invasion," Ascrith said, staring up. He numbed Damian's pain, and His eyes got blue, and lightning bolts began spewing out of them, and the sword caught fire. He walked forward, his boots leaving smoking indents into the ground. The rain washed off the back of his armor, off the sides of the shoulders, and into the smoking indents, vaporizing. He had his right foot on top of a large piece, jutting out. Behind him, and to the side, were all the fighting men, ready to fight.
The Lascannons and light artillery spewed shells into the air, blasting apart some spores. Ascrith ripped the others apart with his mind, but there was almost too many, but all were far away. Then they hit, slamming with as much force, if not more, than the Drop Pods. Alien like roars, howls, and screeches were heard in the air, as well as one human scream as he was consumed utterly. He saw a sight he dreaded: Carnifexes. The Biological Bringer of Doom, a living, breathing, working battering ram. It shouted.
"I am... A Space Marine, Inquisitor Lord Ascrith Taranis, and I shall know no fear," Ascrith whispered to himself as the swarm drew closer. The ships didn't even bother getting in through the atmosphere, they just stood outside of it. "Are you ready to face Hell?"
Carnifex
((Gotta fix that part about the ships exploding. They have NO electronics on board. Seriously. I don't know how, but everything is living, even the ship... And they don't enter orbit... I hate fighting them, only because if you fall down, you won't get back up. But, uh, this wave is small, from a small Hive Fleet of Levithan, I think. Not sure. God it's been a long time. Don't worry, you will only see a few hundred, and they are underpowered. I didn't want to sound, or seem like, a complete D***, if you know what I mean.))
Far above, and away from the invasion force, was the regathering First Fleet of the First Fleet Group. It was composed of enough ships to ruin the invasion force, but only in the air. Ascrith didn't order Exterminatus quite yet at all. In the middle of the Fleet and her Escorts was the Emperor Class Super Battle Barge, the Conquerer. It was the Flagship of the entire Empire, known for her four Nova Cannons, large Lance Batteries, and such.
On board was over 10,000 Space Marines of the 1st Division SS were readying themselves up to preform a rescue mission via Drop Pod and Thunderhawk Gunship. They had, amongst them, 1000 Armored Fighting Vehicles, 500 Dreadnoughts, and 100 Super Heavy Tanks. Also around 100,000 regular infantry men, with around a 1 to 50 tank ratio, and a 1 to 100 Dreadnought ratio. He didn't plan much of a massive assault, just enough to wipe out the Tyranid Hive Fleet in that area. As such, ten Titans and around 10,000,000 Imperial Guardsmen and their support was moving with them.
At the Bridge, the Helm at The Conquerer, was The Emperor himself, dressed in his golden armor, his sword on his back, and guns at the ready. He moved with utter surety, and knew that this attack would have to be planned to the last moment, and carried out as such. He planned to drop on the Planet, with his men, to wipe out this threat to The Empire.
They began moving closer and closer to the fleet, at Impulse, about three days out or so.

"I have faced hell already, But I'm ready to face the next closest thing." Damian said summoned fire to his sword as he let the rain cease and dried up all the puddles. "Better for our warriors to have better footing for the enemies to come." he added as the Carnifexes dropped form the sky, destroying the rest of the buildings that the sun flare had left alone. "Well If I die, kill my selfish father for me." Damian said with a smile as he closed his eyes and teleported to the battle field below with one fluid motion of his left hand, prepared to face hell.
"I'LL KILL HIM ANYWAYS, GODDAMN IT!"
And instantly, he was assaulted. Ascrith knew Damian alone wouldn't last that long, and ordered his men to open fire. Hundreds of 20mm Bolter rounds, and 25mm Heavy Bolters ripped into the Tyranids, carving apart their biological armor, and tearing into them. Hundreds fell, bleeding to death, or already destroyed by the explosive weapons. Lascannons and the Autocannons turned and fired into the massive beasts that were the Carnifexes, sending 152mm and 35mm shells into the enemy with huge destructive power. Almost instantly, a few died. And there Ascrith stood, his guns out, his sword and shield ready, and his weapons firing, a wall against the storm.
The Carnifexes assaulted Damian almost instantly, their huge bodies moving slowly, but getting ready. Large plasma weapons open fired onto the defenders, and most were deflected by Ascrith, but some blasted into the towers. The Dreadnought began smashing apart the enemy, tossing them into the air like nothing before, and carving down huge swaths with his minigun. Fire erupted from the Flamers, and plasma beams melted the enemy in two.
As Damian would soon know, three of these giant, dreaded Carnifexes, almost 100 feet each, rumbled straight for him, their massive claws outstretched, and their close combat weapons at the ready. Damian was too preoccupied with the huge swarm to notice, though, and Ascrith prepared to do something he had never thought he would do.
He jumped from his position, landing on top of the first three Tyranids, who squealed in pain and agony before dying. Ascrith bashed some aside with his shield, and swung his sword at the others who weren't hit, cleaving them in two. He summoned his power, and projected an Avatar of flame, which barreled forward, and was stopped. He charged the nearest Carnifex, who was just about to attack Damian.
When he got close enough, he jumped into the air, a Jump Pack materializing then and there. He supercharged it, sword ready to swing, and just as he got close enough, he put most of his energy behind the sword. His eyes glowed blue, lightning streaking from them. His sword caught fire, and hit with the force of a 200mm shell, cleaving the arm off the great beast, and shattering most of his side, which was now bloody and open. It fell with a shout, the fire crackling.
"DAMIAN! IN FRONT OF YOU!" He shouted, firing his Heavy Bolter attachments at the threat.

Damian noticed the oncoming Carnifex and swung his sword in an arc, looking as if it would miss by several feet. But instead of missing, the sword grew in length and width, slicing through the beast and drenching Damian in blood. Damian laughed an evil laugh as his eyes grew redder and the earth beneath them trembled. "My home." he hissed as a light engulfed him and a nearing Carnifex.
The light made every person mesmerized and they all stopped fighting to see what was causing the blinding light. The light curved into a circle around Damian and turned a blood red, melting away the Carnifex that it had trapped. "How is this for hell?" A deeper voice laughed as a man about twenty emerged from the blinding light, dissolving it. Vincent smiled an evil smile before throwing his head back, flames erupting from his mouth. He grabbed Damian's Abandoned sword and it morphed to his size and build as the sky turned a bloody red. "Time to play." Vincent said as he swung his sword and chopped a Carnifex's head off without any resistance. Everybody was shocked to see Vincent, but they continued fighting and the Tyranid's starting losing ground. "Want to join in this glorious moment Ascrith?" he asked dispatching several more Tyranid's with a swing of his massive sword.

"I don't get payed enough for this..." Ascrith whispered, charging in. "FOR THE EMPEROR!"
His bulky form shook with every step he took, his shoulders moving up and down. He cut apart Tyranids like nothing, and just bashed them away. He shot his guns at anything that dared to fight him, and bashed the others away with his shield. There wasn't much left, and it was now, or never. He shot up into the air, his cape fluttering, and his sword glowing. He stared down, and then shot forward, propelled by his jump pack. His sword swung with both hands, hitting the ground.
A massive surge of fire and raw energy escaped the sword, torching and obliterating most that it touched. The ground shook, and tossed up dirt as a crater was created by his landing. Nothing was left, but it sure as hell made it known to every creature that they were there. And the Tyranids had one thing that Ascrith knew Damian, or Vyncynt, couldn't hurt that well.
The Swarmlord. But for now, the battle was over, and Ascrith a little shocked, but still standing.
"Vyncynt, Return to your Mortal Form!" Ascrith said, staring him down. He knew that Vyncynt would have to face the Swarmlord, and Ascrith knew that the Swarmlord would overwhelm him, and that is why he must force him to do that. To kill the Daemon Lord. Once Damian was almost dead, the Daemon Lord would have enough power to respawn near Damian. "But nice job, Damian,"

Vyncynt nodded and threw his sword into the air, it disintegrated into nothing as a golden aura surrounded Vyncynt. The light grew brighter until it was hard to look at, then it suddenly stopped leaving Damian laying on the ground, covered Tyranid and his own blood from several gashed on his arms and legs. Damian had his eyes closed and he was shallowly breathing, very tired.
Ascrith ran over to where Damian was laying, and grabbed him, running to the makeshift fortress. The dead bodies of the Tyranids were piled up into barriers to keep the others away. Ascrith tried waking up Damian, and he didn't know if it would work or not, but he hoped it would. He ordered for some bandages to be brought, and a medic to get here.
