Ouch. Yay for extremes, am I right?
yayyyyyyyy
Exaaaactly.
I've experienced summers in southern Idaho and eastern Washington and Oregon...and they also are not very enviable. At least they're dry heat, though...if humidity was added to their mix...I probably would have died.

Oh, for sure. I'm glad we have dry heat- I think if we didn't I'd have murdered my dad by now for not investing in an AC.
*Nods emphatically.* I'd have helped you hide the body, too, at that point.

Lol! Good to know I have a ride or die here already!
Absolutely...because no one should live in those inhumane conditions.
But seriously, no AC? Do you at least have a place you can go to cool off? A library? A restaurant? Any kind of public building?

The nights cool off, so we just have to survive until we can open the windows again and turn the fans on (facing outward so it sucks the heat out of the house).
Ah, the old-fashioned way. We do that a lot too, when the weatherman predicts hot temperatures--we also lack AC.
For best effect, open windows on opposite sides of the house to create a wind tunnel with the fans.

Ah, yes! It helps that our wind tunnel windows are in optimal positions to catch the usual direction of the never-ending wind.
Oh, nice...that is awesome!
So at least you can make best use of the cool nights!

Indeed! That is a bonus, lol
And now I've officially run out of things to say to keep the conversation going, lol. But yeah, if you ever wanna chat again, or toss around RP ideas, my PM inbox is always open.

Hi noodle! (love that username) welcome to RPR! You've gotten tons of welcomes already but I figured I'd say hello as well. I have been here three years and love it here. I know you will too.
I have just one question...
Exactly what kind of noodle are you?
