It had been a couple of months since Pearl settled into a small cabin just outside of the town walls. She spun and dyed wool, knitted custom orders, tended to her animals, and seemed all around a normal person. There were many whispers about how a woman could possibly live all alone without protection on the edge of the dangerous forest whenever she went into town, but she learned quickly to ignore the silly gossip and focus on her needs.

Your character learns of Pearl's existence in some way. They're either a local living inside the walls, a family member visiting, a traveler coming through town, or whatever else works for them! They meet, only to find their meeting disrupted by an incident of some kind. A fire, a discovered witch or mage in town who's not Pearl, natural disaster, bandits, drunken fights - and your character finds out that Pearl is a witch in the process. In this world, magic is barely tolerated as being real, but those who believe typically consider it evil and burn the accused on the stakes.

What will your character do? Will they help protect her and keep her secret? Will they rat her out? Will they hunt her if she flees? Will they struggle with a moral dilemma?

What I'm looking for:
Either short term or long-term stories to add to Pearl's history and develop her further! She's been stagnant for a while and I'm mostly looking for a good little story. I'm flexible with the direction for the prompt as long as it makes sense for both characters involved. Friendship is welcome, enmity is welcome, romance is welcome (romance RPs are only for adult players though, I don't want to cross any boundaries with minors on this, sorry!), drama is welcome.... basically as long as it's fun, I'm down!

That is only restricted to romance! If you want to RP a platonic relationship or have our characters be enemies that's open for minors. I'm just not comfortable playing romance with minors. I made some edits to my post to reflect this and avoid confusion, thanks for sharing this!

I have a character that I'd like to kind of flesh out in a similar way which seems compatible with pearl. I just should ask if you are okay with RPing with child characters before proceeding?
