Hey does anyone know what happened to tink? he just suddenly deleted his account? He was one of my best friends on here and i thought he would say something but no.....and um....i was hoping someone would know. if you know please tell me because ei have been crying since i found out

It happens. Get close, but not too close I say. I just recently had a good RP friend up and line themselves out with no word a few weeks back. All we can do is hope they are well and move on as its usually their choice to go.

its hard for me though because I'm a people person and he was my best friend....

Whoa bud what a coincidence, I knew our dude Tink very good as well.

About a day or something ago their posted a goodbye topic but it was deleted because.. AFK topics aren't allowed, I think? They said something among the lines of that they had to take a break because life was hard, which is often the reason people quit RPR for a while. Perhaps they'll come back one day, but eh, no one knows for sure.

Was real good friend of Tink's as well but, you know, I think we gotta give them the time they need.

This, yes. It contained no content other than "I'm leaving but might come back" so it had to be removed under the AFK rule.

Tink had some RL stuff going on and left to handle it. They were clear that no one here had done anything wrong, and they hope to come back some day.

Starwarsfan -- I know what this is like. I'm so sorry. But yes the topic was something like that they may come back when they can and they apologized to everyone they are in RPs with or were in the planning stages of RPs with -- so I'm sure they were thinking of you as well 💗.

I literally didn't know Tink at all, so all this is just from memory of the afk topic they posted (my addiction to browsing the ooc threads was useful for once!).

But I know how it feels. I cried when LadyOfGondor lined herself out and am still not completely over that. It's left me with a thicker "skin," like my whole soul is like a little calloused over where I don't want to get that close to someone online again, or at least not with the idea that it'll be long-term. It was a hard lesson, but I don't think I'll be as hurt the next time this happens, so there's that. My point just being I'm sorry you have to go through this painful moment. At least you know he did attempt to say bye -- just to everybody, all at once. Goodbyes are difficult, especially if you're already going through stuff.

But I know none of that matters, really, because it's still a loss -- I get that. I know exactly how that feels. I personally tend to get really invested in friends, both IRL and online, and I'm guessing you do too. It probably just shows that you have a deep capacity for love -- something good, and something to be proud of, believe it or not. Many hugs.
