My mistake was listening to my other half and taking his response of "about 20 miles" as fact. I looked on a map then... he was thinking of the scenic route whereas I prefer the shorter one.

So definitely not a rocket scooter. Yet.

Distance to work:1 mile

Time it takes: 15 minutes there 10 back (its up a steep hill getting there)

Mode of transportation: These boots were made for walking. I am blessed enough to live very close to my current job, also cursed as in a crisis im closest . . .

I live on the northwest side of my city. My old job (I'm no longer employed) was towards the southeast. It was about 7.5 miles but it took between 30-45 minutes by car, depending on how heavy traffic was. I always left the house an hour before my shift began.

Now my husband... The poor sod. He works about 60ish miles away, five towns over. His commute is a little over an hour. I've tried convincing him to get a job in town, but he refuses. Ah, oh well.
