Hazuki stood in front of her open bedroom window, staring at the star filled sky. Her house was silent except for her dad's light snoring in the other room down the hall. She shifted on the balls of her feet, debating whether she should do this or not. Just to make sure both her parents were still asleep, she peaked in their room and checked. They were still asleep. She went back to the window and took a deep breath. Suddenly, two pure white angel wings burst from her back and she took off into the night sky. It had been awhile since she flew, but it was like a second nature to her.
Hazuki felt nervous about her parents waking up and seeing that she was gone, but she assured herself that this was just a quick flight. After an hour or so she would go back to the house and no one would know. Now feeling the breeze on her skin, she felt her worries float away as she sored through the sky. She smiled to herself and closed her eyes.
Near by, a hunter watched the sky carefully through the thick bundle of trees in a forest, trying to spot a bird in the sky to shoot and bring home. His eyes landed in Hazuki who, from the lack of light, looked more like a bird than an angel. The hunter aimed and shoot, the gun in his hand making a loud popping noise. Hazuki felt a strong pain shoot through her shoulder and she screamed, losing control and plummeting towards the ground. She managed to gain just enough control to land on the ground instead of crash. However, it was a hard landing and she stumbled to the ground. She held her shoulder in pain, feeling sticky blood ooze through her fingers. The hunter, who could not see where she had landed, headed in a random direction, completely opposite of Hazuki's location.
Hazuki, feeling pain and dizziness from the shot, passed out cold on the hard ground in a dense forest.

Two yards away from your 'crash site' one who were conscious would have heard it, a loud low toned noise that seemed to get higher over time. As the noise got higher,a beam of light would appear mid-air, one crack of light, breaking through all the matter in that spot. The line started growing larger, then it started breaking wider, and wider, until it got wide enough for the man on the other side to fit through. The noise is now at the highest pitch you've heard, your eardrums would seem to be splitting, it's a good thing you weren't awake for this. As soon as the man in the portal steps out of the rift, he falls down onto the ground and both the noise, the light, and the gateway disappear.
Xeron shakily stands upright from being flat on his face. He sees the person's body and stares for a minute or two, wondering if she's just sleeping, or not. Finally, he notices the blood, he breaks open a large water bottle he had in his hand and drank all but a quarter of the bottle. He walked over to her and turned her shoulder towards him, he saw the bullet and he shuddered.
"Who shot you?" He said to himself as he dabbed a cloth with water from his bottle to start cleaning the wound. He also started wondering why they would shoot her, he was unsure, but glad she was still breathing, but this cold breeze couldn't be good for her condition. He had to check for an infection and make sure she was warm. He took something out of his pocket that it looks like he carries around everywhere, he must get shot a lot. He slowly takes the bullet out of her arm and throws it aside after examining it for a bit.
"There doesn't look like there's going to be an infection, this wound was recent... I wonder if I should stitch the wound shut or should I cauterize it? Eh, it would decrease the chances for infection for sure, unless I'm not dealing with humans here, I can never tell exactly what calls themselves human on what world, or what really is human for that matter," He seems to be finished muttering to himself, and he looks for some dead grass and sticks to start a fire with so he can shut the wound with the fire. He wonders if she'll wake up now, but he hopes she'll stay right where she is.

Hazuki's eyes fluttered for a few moments until her eyes opened fully to revile a night sky full of stars with a dim moon in the middle. She blinked for a moment, recalling what had happened. She flew out of her window, towards a wooded area, she felt a pain in her arm, had a rough landing, passed out, and...? She was here. But where was here?
She cranked her head to see someone near her. She panicked and tried to get up, but a sharp pain her shoulder stopped her. She clutched her shoulder in pain and gritted her teeth, groaning in pain. "Ow!" She hissed through her teeth, shutting her eyes tightly.

The sound of the gunshot caught the wolf boy's attention and he ran towards it. He froze for a moment when he saw the beautiful, winged girl and moved to help, then saw the other figure leaning over her, apparently trying to help. He stayed hidden in the bushes, his black fur concealing him as he watched, wondering what he could or should do.
"Oh, you're awake, now I can't really cauterize the wound now, can I? Oh well, maybe I ought to just stitch it back together, what do you think? You're the patient," He looks down at her and smiles in a friendly manner as to not frighten or scare you. He stops for a second and looks around, like he just noticed something new. He decides to hide his suspicions though and keep working on the wound.
"Who shot you? And do you still know who you are? I don't really want to have to deal with an amnesiac here... I learned my lesson from that the last time," He finally finishes setting up a fire, the he withdraws a small throwing knife and wedges it in between one of the larger sticks. The stick starts heating up from the inside out, then it quickly catches fire, starting to set the rest on fire. The knife seems as though it were engulfed in the flames, but you notice it's right back where it began, in it's sheathe on Xeron's upper-left arm.
"There we go... Nice and cozy," He looks toward the bushes as if he'd seen something, but heonce again, disregards the fact that something's there. He hoped it wouldn't attack them, it probably wouldn't he thought. For now, he just tends to his patient's wound, and feeds the fire.

Hazuki leaned back when she knew the guy was trying to help her. "Well, you see I was out flying and I felt a pain in my shoulder. I didn't know what hit me. I was so stunned I lost control." She said, rubbing her shoulder. "Thanks for the help by the way, I'm Hazuki." She said with a smile. "And yes, I still know who I am."
Her eyes laid on the fire until she noticed that the man's eyes kept darting to the bush and she followed his gaze. Her eyes locked on the bush for a moment before realizing that something, or someone, was there. "Hello?" She said in a cautious manner.

Andrew froze when he saw the man looking at him and remained perfectly still. Maybe... Maybe they wouldn't notice him? He slowly relaxed then tensed up again when he heard the girl call out in his direction. He took a deep breath then slowly revealed himself.
"H-hello," he greeted as he stepped out of the shadows, his ears layed back passively.

"How can you fly? How do you have these wings? I'm very intrigued by that, to say the least," He says to Hazuki before taking one of the flaming sticks to begin to cauterize the wound.
"Don't worry, this will only hurt for a bit. It's nice to meet you, Hazuki, I'm Xeron! Though I would 've liked our first meeting to be under less 'dramatic' circumstances such as yours, but hey, you get what you get," He smiles and continues until he finishes sealing the small wound. He looked back over and saw the creature, or person, come out of the bushes when Hazuki called out.
"Hi there! I thought I smell-er, saw something moving over there! Maybe heard too, but that doesn't matter so who're yo- you... You're a humanoid... wolf? Just what have I gotten myself into this time?" Xeron starts smacking his head a bit with a small stick, not the burning one. He opens a small cantine he brought with him and takes a large gulp of water.
"Well uh, I guess it's nice to meet some other non-humans then for once. I'm Xeron," He extends his hand for a friendly shake and smiles.

Hazuki tried to ignore the burning sensation that shot through her arm as she smiled at the creature that came out of the bushes to show him he was welcome. While his appearance was odd, she didn't mine. "Hi." She said in a warm voice. She rubbed her shoulder and lightly flapped her wings a few times to try and get the dirt out of them.
"I don't know how I have them." She said, trying to answer Xeron's questions. "And I cant exactly explain why I can fly, its just sort of... a second nature to me." She said with a shrug of her shoulders, flinching at her wound.

"I'm Andrew," the wolf tentatively grasped Xeron's hand and shook it, but he didn't look away from Hazuki. They couldn't see it beneath his black fur, but he was blushing. She was one of the most beautiful girls he had ever seen. He wasn't necessarily a monster or an abomination, nor were his kind uncommon. Anthros populated cities alongside humans, it was just rare and looked down upon for humans and anthros to be in relationships.
"Well it's nice to meet ya," Xeron shook his hand energetically then let go. He walked overt near the small fire where it was warm and sat down. He yawns and looks around, unsure of what do do or say now. He starts drinking more water from that bottle of his and offers some to Andrew and Hazuki, to see if they needed some water or not.
"So uh, if I may ask, what other creatures live on this world? Because I see a winged human and a humanoid wolf, so I'm just wondering really," Xeron picks up a rock and keeps throwing it up into the air and catching it, he keeps continuing this for a while before finally stopping and throwing it sideways into the woods.
"Also, is it just me, or are you two hungry as well? Not to mention tired," He yawns again but stands up this time.
"I would imagine, if anything that you're a good hunter, right?" He asks Andrew after a while.

He shook his head to the offer of water and looked at Xeron curiously, "What do you mean by 'this world?'" he asked cautiously, "You're not from here?"
"Eh, well, I sorta... uh, travel a lot. I've seen a lot, wrestled a giant goldfish, read some weird boooks, seen some pretty cool plays though... But yeah, I'm not from here," Xeron decided to be mostly straightforward with that fact since he'd basically given it away already. He stretches his arms and unsheathes a throwing knife.
"Okay, I suggest we go hunting, I'm personally really hungry," He starts walking off to his left and keeps moving through the leaves and sticks that coat the forest's ground.

"You do that... I'm not too hungry... And she shouldn't be alone..." Andrew said quietly and sat down about five feet from Hazuki, that shy blush still hidden behind his fur.
She though for a moment about Xeron's interesting background, but decided not to ask questions. "I'm not very hungry either." Hazuki said as she pulled her knees to her chest and rested her chin on them. "I just had dinner not too long ago." At that, she thought about her parents, wondering if they already realized that she was gone. She couldn't come home with the wound though. If they saw it, they would start asking questions, and them they would find out. But she couldn't help but smile at Andrew "Thanks for the concern."
He smiled back, "Sure," he nodded to her and grabbed his small deer skin pouch full of water and passed it to Hazuki, "You thirsty?"
Hazuki smiled and took the pouch. "Thank you." She said then took a small drink out of it, then gave it back to him.
((IDK if Yoshi would really fit in this thread, but I haven't used in in a while and I miss him ))
Dr. Yoshi was sitting in a plane about fifty yards from Hazuki's crash site. His knees were up, being supported by his arms that were wrapped around his knee caps, held together by him holding his own wrist. He could hear the thoughts of everyone around him, including Hazuki's hunter, causing him to not be surprised by the gunshot. He waited until the three creatures to calm down to investigate. He zoned out Hazuki and Andrew's thoughts as he got closer. Andrew's thoughts however, were slightly harder to tune out, due to the increased emotion. When Yoshi was in ear shot of the two, he started to make heavier footsteps, cracking twigs on the floor. "Hello?" he said loudly. He didn't want to spook either of them, so making his presence known before he was there was important.

The sudden cracking of the twigs made Andrew leap to his feet and he took a defensive stance, feet apart. He pulled a large, steel knife out of his belt and glared at the new man who approached, "Hello. What do you want?"
Hazuki did not seem to notice the man until he had said hello and Andrew had sprung to his feet. "Hello." She said then looked to Andrew.
